Edmund's Favourite Feature

“Pencraig is the sort of Welsh holiday home children remember as the best sort, with lots of space and everyone enjoying themselves. The views are outstanding across the valley, and you can see the lazy wind of the Wye below.”

We had such a lovely stay! The setting is peaceful and full of character, with beautiful surroundings that made it feel like a true countryside escape. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and full of charm—just what you’d hope for in a historic country house.

A special mention goes to the wonderful lady who met us to hand over the keys—she was incredibly accommodating and genuinely lovely, making us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. Her warm hospitality really set the tone for our visit.

Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway. We’ll definitely be back!

Pencraig Court will hold such a special place in my heart. We had our wedding here at the beginning of September and it was just magical. The house is so gorgeous, all our guests were blown away with it, as were we. There’s ample of space and well equipped. The grounds are breath taking with the lovely view of the River Wye. Anastasia & Gordon were incredibly helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be booking again to stay with everyone, we can’t wait to come back.
