If you are seeking a beautiful house for a big family party or gathering look no further . Beggars Barn,set in beautiful countyside on the edge of The Cotswolds ticks every box. There are literally dozens of activities on site and every domestic need is provided. We had a pre wedding party of 17 staying and everyone was enchanted by the house and gardens. Camilla and Johnny have poured energy ,imagination and investment into the property and it shows. A visitors book covering the last 12 years is crammed with similar testimonials. A stay to remember.

Fantastic weekend for 21 family member gathering for a 70th birthday celebration, venue was stunning, had everything we needed for fun, games and laughter and made good use of the pool because of the amazing weather. Hosts Camilla and Tom were very accommodating. Many thanks Andrew & Dawn

Myself and my family cannot Thank Camilla and the team enough for our short stay in the new year. What a wonderful property, ample room for everyone to have fun, the property itself is incredible. The countryside surroundings are gorgeous. Everything is of top standard and nothing was too much of a problem for the team when we needed an additional bed made up (due to an elderly relative) Thanks again for a fantastic stay, Tommy and family. Lovely house and well catered, although Camilla hit us with some exuberant charges after check out so this is why they don’t get 5 stars. One of the charges was for re-sanding down a circular wooden board left on the island which we clearly presumed was for chopping on, also some broken wine glasses which were V&B, we airbnb our house and never charge for broken wine glasses, we were also only a group of families so not exactly the usual stag or hen party that they have here. Carpet cleaning charge too, you’d think hoovering the carpet would be normal but hey..

Beggars Barn: absolutely brilliant!

We had the most incredible weekend at Beggars Barn. The house is stunning, beautifully equipped, and managed to tick every single box for our (pretty high-energy!) group. Loads of space, gorgeous interiors, fab kitchen, comfy beds, hot tub joy…it had everything we needed and more.

Camilla and her team were amazing: helpful, friendly, super responsive, and really accommodating from start to finish. Nothing felt like too much trouble.

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better setting…and would definitely come back. If you’re looking for somewhere that’s a little bit special, super luxurious, but still feels warm and welcoming, this is it.

We enjoyed a terrifically successful long week-end at Beggars Barn. It would have been difficult to have found a better venue for our 3 generation family gathering (ages ranged from 9 – 86). Very comfortable and well furnished accommodation, wood burning stoves and a short country walk to the nearest pub. Not that we really needed to go there – hot tub, gym, trampoline, pool and ping-png were all used and the kids beat the adults at football. Thanks for a great stay.

Second time at beggars barn. We had a wonderful time. Highlights included: heated pool, great accommodation, gorgeous setting close to lots of attractions especially Upton House. We used an external caterer for a BBQ who I would also recommend (Wendy). Great communication from the host (Camilla). Would highly recommend this for groups of 20.

Camilla couldn’t have been more welcoming! The house was perfect, clean and very well equipped! We can’t wait to find another excuse to book!

Another wonderful time at Beggars Barn. I held my team meeting at Beggars Barn., 15 people. Everyone was so impressed with the house and the facilities.

I held my 50th birthday weekend get-together at Beggar’s Barn for 30 people.

The property is beautiful, incredibly well-designed with great facilities, and comfortably handled 30 people.

Camilla and her team were amazing – helpful and flexible at all stages throughout the process, from providing recommendations for local caterers to dealing with questions and requests during the weekend.

It all added up to a perfect weekend!

This was my third visit to Beggars Barn and it never disappoints. Lovely house with very helpful staff. Camilla and her team do everything to make your stay special.

Don’t be misled by the photos – they do not do justice to Beggars Barn! We just hosted a family gathering of 26 people (ages 3 to 80 years) and everyone agreed it was fabulous. The facilities are excellent, but so is the service – from booking through to housekeeping to checkout – enhanced by super communication from the owners. And in the words of one of our Canadian guests, “This place is spectacular. We aren’t royals but we sure lived like them this weekend!” Thank you Camilla, Johnny, Georgina, Tom, Lisa, and all the team.

Had a lovely weekend with our friends to celebrate our engagement.

The place is brilliant, very suitable for large groups and there was so much entertainment that no one was bored for even a single minute. There were more than enough kitchen supplies and fridge/freezer space. The ovens are very convenient and easy to use as well.

The pool certainly is worth asking for even if it’s out of season (we stayed in the second half of March and were lucky with the weather). We unfortunately didn’t have time to but the estate itself is surrounded by a mini stream and lots of greenery so if we are ever to come back I’ll try and go for a stroll as it seemed amazing outside.

We want to thank Tom for showing us around the first day and Camilla for all her help throughout our stay.

We’d love to stay at Beggars Barn again in the future and would strongly recommend considering it for your group events!

Hosted my husbands 60th with 19 guests. I couldnt have asked for a better venue. Camilla and Georginia were amazing with all the help with professional local suppliers, information and professional, friendly service. Nothing was to much for them. Thank you for helping us create such wonderful memories. guests are still talking about the weekend!!!!

Great big group accomodation with ample parking in the wilds of England. Well heated for winter and strong WiFi.

Beggars barn is an incredible property, boasting large rooms and a rustic feel. We went for a few days break with 5 other families and the property accommodated us with ease. Camilla is a phenomenal host and the barn was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The kitchen was well stocked and the house was clean and warm. We hired a chef for one night and the food was outstanding. We will definitely be back. Thank you Camilla Trisha x

Beggar’s Barn was amazing!!! Great place to host a big family get together, space to be together as well space to apart. Facilities and set up all great. Would definitely book again. Mike from the shooting experience was amazing and all had a great time.

We stayed at Beggars Barn from 11/07/23 till 15/07/24 for my hen party and our stay was absolutely amazing. This is the most beautiful place I have ever stayed in both inside and outside. Every room was decorated beautifully, was immaculate and fitted with everything you could possibly want. They were also spacious and had lovely views of the grounds. The Annexe was perfect for a party room and easily fit 28 people inside. The disco lights in there are also a great touch. The outside was absolutely stunning. The pool was amazing and the fact that it is heated made it all that much better as you could lounge in it for hours. The summer house was very cute and is great that it had a little kitchen within so that the people staying in there could still have their tea and coffees without having to venture into the main building. The trampoline was also very fun. Everyone who came had such a fun time. The hosts were lovely and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful stay at Beggars Barn to celebrate a birthday. Our whole family of 17 were there and the facilities provided were first class and accommodated all ages from 3 to 75 years. The pool, hot tub, BBQ and patio were beautiful and made the event a great one. The whole staff team at the Barn were friendly and very helpful throughout our stay. We will certainly be staying again for the next family event I am sure.

What a beautiful property and grounds Beggars Barn is. I booked Beggars Barn for my friends hen do and it was the perfect place to host. Having the annexe with the party room was great because we could do everything we wanted to do in one place rather than get transport and go out somewhere. Everyone was so impressed with the property and the facilities. We stayed in early March so we didn’t use the pool and didn’t get to see the garden in all its glory – apparently it’s beautiful in the spring/summer time. But even still, it was stunning. I’d love to stay again with friends or with family. I’d definitely recommend booking Beggars Barn. The team behind Beggars Barn, were so helpful and friendly. They sent a list of recommended suppliers and caterers so if you are thinking of staying or hosting, they can really help you make it the best stay possible.
