Henge Estate

From the first time we set eyes on Henge Estate – we knew that it was meant to be. I’m so pleased we found this hidden gem of a venue.

The house and grounds are so beautiful, with lots of different areas and possibilities for creating a dream wedding. What we loved most was the freedom to do whatever we wanted and create a day that was entirely ours. We held our ceremony in the walled garden and it was everything we could have wished for and more. So peaceful & beautiful.

The house itself has everything you could ever think of needing. I don’t think there was a single item that wasn’t available. Everything was considered and so beautiful. Henge actually feels like a livable home – rather than a museum or too stately. We felt totally comfortable our entire stay, and our guests also loved it. Every room is unique and gorgeous and the games room in the cellar is an incredible addition!

The newly installed late night music tent is also a great addition. It really created the right ambience for a night of dancing and set the scene for a great party, plus sound was excellent.

Victoria, Sandra and everyone else behind the scenes are fantastic and really go above and beyond to make everything as easy as possible. Very responsive and ever so kind. We can’t thank you all enough.

If you are looking for a venue where you can create exactly what you want – Henge is perfect. We are incredibly happy that we got to enjoy our wedding day at Henge Estate, and can’t wait to come back one day ❤️

If you’re looking for a home away from home for your wedding and making your wedding your own, look no further, Henge Estate was the best decision we made for our wedding! Victoria was such a lovely host, friendly and relaxed with our questions and requests. The house itself is so lovely, with comfy beds, colourful bathrooms and a big kitchen at the heart of the house. We had the most perfect time at henge estate for our wonderful wedding. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly, the venue itself is absolutely stunning with so many amazing different areas for the ceremony, wedding breakfast and even an amazing outdoor dance area for the evening. We cannot recommend henge estate enough it was absolutely perfect. Thank you for having us we loved every second. X

Henge Estate was truly so much better than I could have imagined!! I just got married there in July and it was the most beautiful home and made the perfect home base for the days around the wedding. We were able to have our closest friends and family stay and we had the best time. It’s perfectly equipped with everything you could need for hosting tons of people. My friends and family still rave about it! The ladies that run the house were also sooooo attentive and accommodating when we needed something as well! Which was such a lovely extra touch! I truly think everyone should have their wedding here! It’s the perfect English countryside spot!!❤️❤️

Victoria and the Henge Estate Team are simply outstanding. From initial contact, their communication, care and attention to detail was impeccable.

We were fortunate enough to be the first people to have a Licensed wedding at Henge! I’m so happy that other people can now have their dream weddings at this stunning venue!

We’re also lucky enough to have nightclub tent installed for our wedding, so we were able to party in to the night!

The House itself is beautifully designed, with style and comfort in mind. The bathrooms are just incredible and so luxurious. The kitchen and basement games room was also a highlight us and our guests.

I cannot speak highly enough of Victoria and the dream team that run Henge Estate! They help make our wedding run so smoothly. They answered questions and liaised with our vendors. Which help take some of the stress away from us.

Wow this place is unbelievable, the word perfect is overused but to use it would not do this justice – from the well equipped kitchen to the rooms every detail has been considered, thank you to the owners for allowing your beautiful house to be rented it was very much appreciated.

I celebrated my 30th birthday here and it was absolutely perfect. The house and surrounding grounds are so beautiful, it made you feel totally in a world of your own. I had lots of questions and things to organise on the lead up to my booked weekend and they were all so responsive and helpful, which made it all so much less stressful. I can’t thank the team enough for everything they did before and during our stay! I would recommend to anyone 🙂 We are looking forward to coming again!

Celebrated a family birthday at Henge Estate and had a fantastic 2 days. Spectacular house and location which has everything you need to enjoy your stay plus excellent support from the owner and team. Everyone was suitably impressed and we are already planning our return visit. Thoroughly recommend.

Our family of 20 had a fabulous weekend at Henge Estate. It’s a really beautiful and interesting house with expansive grounds and lovely views. The house is clean, really well maintained and has so much character too. The kitchen is really well equipped. Everyone we dealt with from booking through to the actual stay was helpful and friendly. We’d highly recommend staying here!

Henge Estate is absolutely beautiful and we are so pleased we hosted our wedding celebration there. The house interiors are exceptional, it’s so comfortable and homely and we love that’s it’s been lovingly restored to its Georgian charm. The grounds were also stunning. It was the perfect surroundings and setting for our celebration.

We had the most amazing stay at Henge Estate. Comunication from the moment we booked was excellent. The house and Estate is stunning, there was nothing we could want for, the house is fully equipped with everything we needed and more. There was even a croquet set. I’d recommend a stay here, it’s outstanding in every way. It’s so peaceful with gorgeous views, a walled garden and a stunning interior too. We all agreed we wanted to stay longer. If you’re looking for somewhere with the wow factor this is it.

We stayed at Henge Estate for a fantastic family weekend (14 adults and 2 dogs from 2 families) and enjoyed the wonderful facilities on hand. From our booking to the end of the weekend all was handled with wonderful efficiency and Victoria was especially helpful. Even though Storm Bert passed overhead, it did not spoil our enjoyment and we managed to get in a lovely walk to see Stonehenge. The rooms are spacious; and bathrooms well equipped with hot showers and well fitted out. The kitchen has all you need and was put to the test as we ate in on both evenings. The games room was put to good use. Would highly recommend for a stay at any time of year and we all look forward to returning.

We have just had the most incredible and memorable weekend stay at Henge Estate to celebrate an 80th birthday. Our family of 4 generations is 19 in total and this house was perfect in every way. The bedrooms are all unique and renovated beautifully, as are the bathrooms. The attention to detail is spot on. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will ever need and this became the hub for our stay. The house has a really relaxed and cosy vibe despite being so big and it really feels like a family home. The owner is so helpful and is always quick to respond to messages. And the house manager, Sandra was amazing during our stay. We would definitely recommend this venue for a family/friends gathering or celebration. We’re planning on returning for summer stay next time. Thank you Henge Estate!

I cannot recommend more this place. The house is incredible and every room is like a 5 star hotel. We rented this place for our wedding and our guests loved it. Every corner of the house has a special detail and is very well-equipped. Communication with Victoria was excellent and Alex was very kind and helpful. I think it was very thoughtful from them to give us privacy to feel ourselves at home. We had the best weekend of our lives and many of our guests told us the same. Cannot be more happier to have chosen Henge Estate as my wedding venue.

We had a multi generational family gathering at Henge Estate earlier this year in May. This was the perfect setting for 17 of us to spend a long weekend together. The rooms were beautifully in keeping with the character of the house and the kitchen was fully equipped and had plenty of room for us all to hang out in. The games room was a big hit with the children (ages 6 to 15) as was the outdoor jacuzzi. The grand dining room had a gorgeous view and added a special something to the weekend.

We were fortunate enough to have amazing weather and spent a lot of time outside. The kitchen has an access each side to an outdoor space with a seated area. We organised a couple of outdoor activities at the Estate, wine tasting and laser clay shooting which the grounds lent itself perfectly too. Highly recommended!

Shrewton House is something really special: a Country House with every modern convenience, tastefully done with a homely intimacy. My family of 21 (youngest 17) celebrated my wife’s 80th birthday over a long weekend and had a wonderful time playing croquet, enjoying the hot tub, walking round the lovely estate, barbecuing and playing snooker into the early hours! Everything one needs is provided. The house is immaculate, and the people involved so friendly and helpful, and quick to respond. The beautiful array of flowers in the hall on our arrival said it all. I cannot recommend a stay at Shrewton House highly enough.

Stayed at the wonderful henge estate in early may and this place is top class. The accommodation is of a very high standard and everything you could wish for a break away in the country .The grounds are amazing and the house is spotlessly clean .Lovely big kitchen and a perfect place for friends and family. Will be back again for sure .And the hottub was so relaxing

We recently celebrated my 40th birthday at Henge Estate. It’s an incredible property filled with history, and clearly restored with love and attention to detail. The property is stocked to the brim with everything you could desire, the bedrooms are beautiful, and the grounds fit for a king. We had 12 children there over the weekend and we barely saw them. Thank you for letting us into this magical kingdom. We will be back!

Such a wonderful place to stay and. Every room was delightful – full of charm and character and of course, spotlessly clean! Victoria and her team could not have been more helpful. Thank you so much for making my birthday so lovely.
