West End Farm has undergone a £2 million renovation, making it the ideal country getaway that blends the comforts of the present with the allure of the past. The main house has four bathrooms and six tastefully furnished bedrooms. The Lodge next door features a separate kitchen and living area, two additional bedrooms, and a bathroom. This makes it ideal for large or multiple families who wish to be together but still have their own space.
The property’s best feature is the handcrafted oak kitchen. It has been thoughtfully designed and equipped to satisfy even the most discriminating cooks. From informal family meals to elegant dinner parties, this space is perfect. The outdoor spaces for entertaining have been thoughtfully designed. They have a charcoal barbecue and several private terraces where you can peacefully observe the sheep and horses in the fields next door.
The grounds have been thoughtfully designed to create peaceful spaces for adults to unwind in style and secure, enclosed areas for children and dogs to run freely. Every bedroom has been thoughtfully designed to be elegant and cosy, ensuring every visitor can have a restful night’s sleep. The property can be used for both formal events and informal family vacations because it has many family-friendly features and a chic appearance.
In 2025 a indoor heated swimming pool and jacuzzi was added to make the property even more unique! The pool and jacuzzi is for the private use of guests.
Location and Things to Do
West End Farm is ideally positioned for easy access to Leeds, Manchester, and Sheffield, with the M1 just over an hour away for those travelling from the South and beyond. For those wanting to make the journey part of the adventure, Driffield train station is conveniently located nearby, with regular services from York and Hull. Guests can enjoy a spot of retail therapy in historic York, less than an hour away, or explore the market town of Pickering.
Beach lovers can head to Bridlington, just a 20-minute drive, perfect for a bracing dog walk. For something a little more dramatic, Bram Stoker’s inspiration for Dracula, the atmospheric coastal town of Whitby, is just over an hour’s drive.

Wow, what can we say, we have the best weekend ever at West End Farm, Lewis and Molly have done an amazing job with this 8 Bedroom Country house, the property feels like your own private estate with 20 plus acres of land for use to roam with our dogs, this was our 2nd visit and the addition of the indoor pool was a really hit. we have booked again for next year.
