Great Everden Manor

We stayed at great Everden manor for the weekend and had our wedding there on 18/04/26 and we had the best day ever. From deciding we wanted to get married there, the whole process was great. We were able to visit and take a look around and immediately knew it was the perfect place. The grounds are stunning and we had exclusive hire which was great. We also booked pineville so we had extra room for guests which is incredible. The house itself and the grounds are amazing. The rooms are big and all of our guests said how amazing the house was. They have a marquee you can use for events but due to having a large number of guests at the wedding we hired a tipi and used the marquee for dinner Friday night and breakfast in the mornings. Beth arranged for the tables to be set up for us in the marquee for the meals which was so helpful. The swimming pool is huge and has a bar area, so we had a pool party the night before the wedding which was amazing. There’s plenty of stuff to keep kids busy too like animals and play areas.

In the build up to the wedding Beth was always happy to help with my million questions and really was a rock for me throughout the planning process. She was so happy to help and relaxed that it just alleviated all of my stress knowing I had her throughout it all. She also let me come back again to see the house so I could plan what decor I wanted and where to have the ceremony etc. which again was so helpful and just another thing to alleviate any stress and answer any questions. Her team also worked so hard to get the house and grounds looking amazing for the wedding, they cut all the grass and opened up the pond so we could have some incredible photos there. They even mowed in a path in the grass from the tipi to the house so guests had a path to follow. So many small things like that that just shows how much they care to help make everything perfect. On our wedding day, I was a bit of a control freak and had a long list of jobs I wanted to be done like setting up a drinks table, moving chairs between the ceremony and reception and putting out bottles of Prosecco and pouring drinks etc. but Beth and her team were more than happy to help and nothing was too much to ask. They honestly made our day run perfectly. I used the apartment above the pool as the bridal suite and Beth kept me updated in the morning as to how everything was going which was so lovely and really helped keep my stress at bay in the morning. They were happy to let us take control of the day and we asked a friend to be our MC to run everything but Beth and her team were always on hand to help with everything and make sure everything went to plan. Which it did, the day was perfect and all of our guests said how lovely and relaxed it was. A lot of them even said it was the best wedding they’d ever been to!! We had lawn games out on the grass by the terrace area where we had some pre-ceremony drinks and our cocktail hour which worked great. We hired a tipi, a horsebox bar and caterers who did a bbq which was great. We also had a little fire pit outside the tipi for the evening. Beth was happy to listen to all of our ideas and I can’t say enough how thankful we are to her and to her team for everything they did. They helped us have the best day ever. We had a DJ and a sax player as well in the tipi. Music was turned off outside at 11 but that didn’t matter because we had the house we just moved the party inside and had an after party in there, which was amazing compared to most wedding venues where you get kicked out at 11pm / midnight. We were able to keep the party going. Honestly we can’t recommend great Everden manor enough, whether you want to stay just for a weekend or get married here, you will have the best time. We’re already planning to come back at some point and all of our family want to come back too. It’s an incredible place and the staff there just make it even better.

Fabulous accommodation!! We had a family get away which was most enjoyable in this spacious, well looked after estate. Highly recommended for any group looking for a great getaway!!

Wow Wow we had the most fabulous, amazing, weekend at Great Everden Manor …STUNNING GROUNDS, everthing gorgeous, everthing was spotless, so spacious and the best part was the full size swimming pool which the kids spent nearly all day in. The showers and toilets there were were really clean. I loved my main master bedroom it was HUGE!!!! I cant wait to come again!! Chaya xx

have been to this estate a few times. Beautiful grounds. Extremely relaxing. Variety of birds Nothing like sitting outside early morning connecting to the countryside. The estate has everything you need to keep you comfortable and keeping the kids and grownups busy. Good beds. Indoor heated pool and jacuzzi. Games room. Gym. Tennis courts. Outdoor seating area. Ponds with fish and fountains. A beautiful all rounder. Thanks to the fantastic team on site ensuring everything is under control.

We had a fantastic family weekend at Everden. The Manor is a wonderful location to have a family or group trip. The facilities are really great, the rooms very comfortable and the grounds provide an idyllic backdrop …highly recommended!

We enjoyed a fabulous family weekend at Great Everden Manor and Pineville Estate. We were a party of 70 people ranging in ages and we were all very comfortable. The facilities including, gym, games room and heated pool were enjoyed by all. Thank you Beth and the rest of the team for all your help with arrangements both before and during our stay.

Fabulous site tastefully finished balancing the old country style but with a modern and luxurious finish. We were super comfortable. We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the beautiful grounds and the use of the estate’s facilities. Visiting the the goats were an extra bonus. The staff were welcoming and accomodating! Came up to visit the estate. Its a gem in the countryside, the park like gardens, beautifully appointed Manor dating back to the 12th century apparently, Fantastic heated indoor pool with comfortable changing rooms and jacuzzi. Extremely comfortable beds, artwork and lovely furniture. The goats on site are a wonderful addition for guests with children too. Perfect for family get togethers or parties, weddings and events.

The pool is nice and warm. Waking in the morning , hearing the fountain and birds is just phenomenal. Will be back soon. beH

Stunning place

Organised a viewing and they couldn’t even be bothered to reply to me when I got in touch to confirm if it was going ahead a few days before. Terrible communications, would not recommend. The red flags were there when it would take them weeks to reply including me needing to follow up on most emails. Not what you want when you’d be spending nearly £10k on hiring the venue…

Cramped room, no detailed cleaning before guests check-in

I will stress I did not stay here but previous reviews do speak highly of the building. The roads are very narrow, be careful if you have a large vehicle. Externally there are refuse bins outside the gate and the fencing has additional panels installed which do not give the building a welcoming appearance.

We went as part of a family group. We stayed in the Pineview building, the beds were great the sleep was most refreshing. The facilities were well used by the entire group, from quad bikes, feeding the goats and the well kept swimming pool and gym.

We had so much to do and enjoy on the site that we didn’t get to the Romney Hythe Dymchurch Railway. Oh well something to look forward to next time.

Impressive Estate. Beautiful mix of old and new . Very well decorated. Comfortable beds. Ģood size pool. Games Room. Gym. Tennis courts. Fantastic grounds. Specimen trees and plants. Gated pond full of fish and dancing fountains. Kids corner. Goats at back of estate. Bikes for rent. Overall one of greatest estates in Kent.

Stayed here for my friend’s 30th – absolutely stunning house. Perfect for big parties with gorgeous views, great outdoor space (great for summer’s evenings) and pool area. Couldn’t recommend more

Outstanding! This place is truly special. We were there for a friend 30s and she couldn’t have chosen any better. Beautifully decorated with a great attention to details, functional kitchen, many spaces where sitting and relaxing, massive pool and the garden as the surroundings are just beautiful…and this is only a glimpse of what i could write! Me and my boyfriend stayed in a detached cottage which felt like home…will book for a special occasion myself!!

I stayed at Everden Manor recently for my friends 30th birthday. It’s an amazing estate in the middle of the countryside and the grounds are really well looked after. It’s well furnished and has a pool, snooker table and tennis court.

We had a most amazing time, beautiful peaceful countryside beautiful well equipped accommodation, well looked after, helpful staff, invigorating warm and clean pool and jacuzzi, spa and games, worth every penny ! Cant wait for next time.

Beautiful weekend spent in Great Everden Manor. Charming 12th century converted barn with modern facilities including swimming pool, gym, table tennis and snooker tables. Plenty of private sitting and eating areas and large sprawling grounds to enjoy.

Based in the stunning and quiet countryside, the grounds are beautiful and well kept, kids loved the swimming pool and the snooker and table tennis were enjoyed by all. Our family has now stayed a few times in Great Everden Manor and we have always had a fantastic time. We have been here as a small group and sometimes we stayed here with over 40 people and it was always great. While some used the beautiful pool and Jacuzzi others were playing in the large grounds or just walking round the pond and enjoying the wonderful grounds. With Tennis Court, Bikes, Gym and Games Room there is always something for everyone to do. Looking forward to the next visit!

Have stayed at this estate quite a few times. A great all rounder , the Manor oozes history with original doorways and beams , fantastic master bedroom, modern and huge bathroom, all rooms tastefully furnished with great marble floored dining room, lounge and sitting rooms, large games room and gym and our highlight the indoor pool and jacuzzi. The lovely huge grounds have been planted with specimen plants and trees attracting different types of wildlife. Ponds full of fish with fountains, many corners with seating to keep privacy. The cottages have been done up to a good standard and are tasteful and comfy. Beds are really good and staff are wonderful and accommodating. They even have bikes to rent. Definitely one of the most beautiful holiday estates in Kent.

We spent a family weekend in the Great Everden Manor, which was a most spectacular experience.

The place is suitable for 70 + people and is fully kitted to make your experience a splendid one.

It’s a hidden gem, tucked away off a very quiet lane surrounded with countryside scenery & very easy access to the motorway.

One cannot forget to mention the detail and care that the hosts give you, taking into account any need that one can dream off, to ensure your experience to be of the highest standard.

Would definitely recommend it to others and look forward to visiting again.

We really enjoyed our weekend here. we were met with a spotlessly clean, warm and very comfortable accommodations. Everything was tailored for our needs and Any questions or help we needed was immediately seen to. I celebrated my birthday at this place. The property is quite astonishing lovely space, location and activities (Hot tub, Swimming Pool, Table tennis, Pool, Outdoor area to play tennis, football and other sports) to do. My guests really enjoyed their time. Beth (Property Manager) was really helpful and friendly. she welcomed and showed us around the property. She even altered things according to our needs, which was great. I cant wait to come next year for my birthday. I am thankful and grateful to them for making my birthday so special.

I went for a weekend with my family and stayed in one of the cottages. all was incredible!! rooms was nice and Beds were very comfortable. Grounds are large with many areas for children to play and lounge around, All gated so didn’t have to worry. a nice Large pond with fish that we really enjoyed to feed 🙂 Pool was nice and heated and had all the accessories (floats, swimming ring etc) and games room were just great! The manor house itself is a wonderful piece of art with parts dating back 1000 years. my kids do not stop asking when are we coming back 🙂

Idyllic location with plenty of interesting outings in the vicinity. Strictly kosher modern kitchen with full facilities. Wide open safe areas for the children to run around with the additional luxury of a generous hot tub Spacious lounge, comfortable generous dining area with space for a large family to eat, relax and play in the games room. we just spent a week at this estate. one of the best holidays we have ever had. kept us adults and the kids busy. everything we needed including washing and drying machines,hoovers and brooms. Good facilities and well kept,we loved the heated pool and jacuzzi,and the evening walks on the estate. well done to the friendly staff. Will be visiting again.

We had a wonderful time. The estate is fantastic. It has facilities for all. Great indoor pool, tennis courts, games room. The Manor house is georgous a beautiful mix for a grade two listed Manor house. Very well kept up with great grounds, planted with msny specimen plants. Looking forward to coming again!

Just come back from great family holiday. Place is spacious, clean and with great amenities. Can’t forget the pool. A real hit for the kids (and of course the adults). Rural, relaxing and spacious grounds! Would highly recommend and look forward to returning!

Nice venue

Rural isolated large house. Ideal for family get togethers. Looking very tired, my expectations were not met. Showers faulty, oven didn’t work. Overall ok for the family meet up, just let down by aged facilities. Would I go again? Unlikely

I had a fabulous time at this wonderful place .It was my sons 40th birthday and everyone that attended thoroughly enjoyed it.

Fantastic venue great 2 party love it

Unfortunately this was not very clean, had cobwebs everywhere. The grass wasn’t cut, so made it difficult to play rounders etc. The terrace had broken slabs and could be dangerous. Also the fire extinguishers had not been serviced. The cloth on the pool table needed replacing, you could not play pool on it. I emailed everdon with this and had no reply. This was very expensive to expected it to be better.

This is a marvelous location with a huge amount of facilities and activities on site. It is perfect for large group getaways and functions. It is run by helpful, competent staff who care about their guests. It is a hidden gem in the south of England well worth the visit especially as it is so close to the coast, channel tunnel and all the countryside. A full, unreserved five thumbs up.

Had a wonderful weekend with all the family. Plenty of outdoor space with tennis courts, bikes and of course ducks to feed! The indoor games room, pool and gym were a real bonus. Thank you Aaron.

We just got back from 2 nights at Great Everden – 8 adults and 8 kids (4yrs – 1yr). This house is just fantastic. The facilities were brilliant for our needs. The indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi were perfect, the table tennis & snooker tables were great for the adults and the outdoor playground was loved by the kids. The house itself was so spacious for all of us and had everything we needed. The kitchen is massive and a pleasure to cook in. I have to give a special shout out to Emily who manages the property. Nothing was too much for her and she answered all my questions so promptly – both before our stay and whilst we were there. She really made our stay seamless. We can’t wait to book for next year!

Absolutely amazing weekend at Great Everden for a big family party. Everything we could have wished for. Superb accommodation catering for an age range of 1-80. Emily was so helpful. Would definitely recommend Great Everden.
