An amazing house to stay. We had a family (of 14 people) 80th birthday weekend and had so much space for everyone. Everything about the house was stunning- fantastic bedrooms, all with massive ensuites; huge kitchen (and a smaller one), dining room big enough for everyone plus space; lounge, games room which kept the youngsters entertained (and a family pool competition) – everything we needed. We had a private chef cook for us on the birthday – Will Gowing, The Private Chef Experience – we can definitely recommend him. Came along with everything: cooked, served, washed up and cleaned up! We would certainly come again for a winter family holiday, although, without a swimming pool, it’s not a place for us for the summer, unfortunately.
