I have to say a huge “thank you” to Cindy, and her team, at Walcot Hall for making my daughter’s wedding such an unforgettable event.

The venue itself is superb, especially if you’re after traditional comfort in a beautiful country setting. We were very lucky with the weather, considering how unpredictable it has been in March 2026, so the ceremony took place in the Enchanted Forest, which completely lived up to its name.

The reception was held in the hall’s spacious marquee and we made good use of the dancefloor later on.

As the father of the bride, I was footing the bill, but it was worth every penny. The accommodation was warm and spacious and breakfast on the day after the wedding was all the more delicious for being able to share it with family and friends in the relaxed atmosphere of a real country house.

Once again, a massive “thank you” to Cindy and Walcot Hall Estate for making it such a special weekend.

Had the very great pleasure of attending a wedding at this fabulous venue last weekend. Cindy and her staff pulled out all the stops to ensure that everything went without a hitch. Loved the woodland bower and the roaring log fire afterwards in the drawing room.

Attended a wedding here in September and wow I was blown away with the venue. The grounds are well maintained and as I arrived up the drive and saw the hall I was amazed! I felt like I was in a movie. The whole wedding was seamless and the enchanted forest was absolutely stunning!

Choosing Walcot Hall Estate for our wedding day was the best decision we could have made. It was everything we dreamed of and more. The setting is breathtaking – the perfect balance of elegance and charm – the Georgian Hall and beautiful landscaped formal gardens provided a magical backdrop for our memories and photos. Cindy and her amazing team of staff were so welcoming, supportive, and accommodating – nothing was too much trouble. They went above and beyond to make sure every detail was just right and everything ran seamlessly. Their professionalism gave us so much peace of mind and their kindness made both us and our guests feel so looked after. We can’t imagine a more perfect place to have said ‘I do’ and celebrate with all our loved ones. Now, we just want to go back and do it all over again, and again.

My daughter had her wedding reception here in the Marquee on 29th May 2025. We had the most perfect day, the staff were so helpful and attentive even the evening before when we were setting everything up. The Hall and grounds are beautiful and the food amazing. All our guests commented on how lovely the whole reception was in the day and evening. My daughter and son in law stayed in the bridal suite and my husband and I stayed in the lodge very comfortable and clean and a lovely cooked breakfast in the main hall with owner Cindy in the morning. I can highly recommend Walcot Hall as a wedding venue.

Walcott Hall is set in a quiet pretty hamlet in North Lincolnshire.Having no traffic to disturb the peace it is amazingly tranquil and calm. As you approach the house along the sweeping driveway you will feel as if you have stepped back in time. The house and grounds are magnificent and beautifully maintained. As you step inside and admire the huge roaring fires, high ceilings ,elegant furniture and decor you can begin to imagine all the history the house has witnessed.The present owner Cindy will proudly show you around her outstanding home. Away from the house the grounds hold a surprise around every corner.You may find the “secret garden” the fountain terrace ,the yurt or snowdrop lodge both discretely tucked away with hot tub. The onsite marquee is placed slightly away from the house down a quaint winding path. All the above is admittedly charming but the most impressive feature of Walcott Hall is undoubtedly its incredible staff. Every single member of staff we met on our year long journey of planning our event exceeded all expectations. They are pleasant,cheerfull,friendly and yet totally professional .They are hardworking, enthusiastic and passionate about their job.Nothing is a problem and they have a wonderful “can do”attitude. This team will work with you to make your ideas come to life nomatter how unique they may be. Cindy and her team are so accomadating and flexible to your thoughts and wishes. From their vast experience they will make suggestions and give pertinent advice when needed. Ultimately we had the perfect day from start to finish ,filled with joy which we will remember forever. Fantastic service provided by all staff, beautiful house and gardens

My wife and I recently celebrated our wedding here and we could not have asked for a more perfect day. We would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone. The staff are very welcoming and made my family and guess feel very welcome and comfortable.

Prior to our wedding we looked at several locations around North and North East Lincolnshire for somewhere to hold our event, and all seemed to lack that special appeal. Golf courses, public bars, multi weddings, hotel guests and so on – none gave us the feeling that our event was anything more than a business side line. And then we discovered Walcot Hall Estate, nr Alkborough, North Lincolnshire. A little out of the way, but easy enough to get to, the moment we turned into the long sweeping driveway, we knew that the venue could be perfect for us. The imposing hall stands in impressive grounds with large open areas and mature trees and it doesn’t all stop at the front door. A large open hallway with grand staircase and rooms to either side with high ceilings and tall windows. The venue certainly does not disappoint on the grandeur scale, and in that respect was totally the opposite to our modest wedding plans. An hour later, deposit paid and date set, it was an easy decision to make and a decision we are extremely happy we made. What Walcot Hall gives you, that many venues cannot, is focus, and options. No matter what your celebration – it’s all about you. Inside or outside, large or small, grand or modest the choice is yours, taylor your event however you wish and all will be ably handled by owner Cindy, Teresa, Helen, Hannah, Nicola, Julie & Kat. Being a licensed wedding venue, our whole day was held at Walcot and included accommodation for our travelling guests, all of whom were suitably impressed by the well-presented double bedrooms. Our ceremony and reception went as smoothly as we could have hoped for. And the evening celebration went equally as well, with several rooms for guests to spread out to dance, chat or chill, and all serviced by a well-stocked bar. We really couldn’t be happier. We await our professional photographs, but from those that we have seen from friends and family, they are unlikely to disappoint. In terms of cost, it obviously depends on your personal plans/perspective. But in terms of value for money we honestly think you’d be hard pressed to find better. Walcot Hall, truly is a venue that has it all, and we thank all of the staff for their efforts both prior to, and on the day (especially when it rained!) and for making our wedding all that we imagined it could be.

Attended a wedding here recently it was a fantastic day. The staff were wonderful and very hard working. The grounds are beautiful such a wonderful setting for the perfect day. The only fault for me personally was there was no seating outside the marquee which would have been nice.

Amazing day made even better by the venue

We recently had our special day at the Walcot Hall Estate. The venue is beautiful in its setting and offers a piece of luxury without being over the top. We chose to have a Staycation wedding, with arrival on the Friday afternoon for the bridal party and close family guests staying at the Hall, that includes a home cooked meal on the Friday evening. This was a great way to relax into the weekend and start things off, as well as being able to enjoy the stunning décor of the venue.

The wedding was held on the Saturday with the ceremony taking place on the fountain terrace – thankfully the weather was perfect for this. To be surrounded by the greenery of the tress and shrubs, accented by the bright floral colours from the flowerbeds, made for a memorable occasion – as it should be. As there were a large number of guests for the reception, this was held in the marquee which is on-site. Walcot Hall Estate looked after the floral arrangements, as well as the venue styling in the marquee, and they did an amazing job. Everything matched together perfectly with a timeless and classy feel to it.

The owner, Cindy, wedding planner, Teresa, and all of the Hall’s staff were friendly and could not have done more for us to be helpful, both over the weekend and in advance of the day. So many things had already been taken care of that we were not expecting or even before we had thought of them. As newbies to getting married, guidance from Walcot on what needed to be booked, and suggestions of who to use, was much appreciated and also took away much of the complexities to arranging the event. Overall, what was a magical day was made even more special by the venue and location we chose and we could not recommend it highly enough for anyone else.

We had the most fantastic wedding day here a couple of weeks ago. We were only having a very small ceremony and wanted to keep it very low key, but between Cindy, Teresa and the gang, we had the most magical day you could ask for – nothing was too much trouble. The venue and gardens are perfect and the flowers (by Cindy) were on another level. Can honestly say they all felt like family and we will class them as friends forever x

What a wonderful stay we had at Walcot Hall. We hired the house out for the weekend- we chose it as it had the big dining room so we could all eat meals together and plenty of space for such a big group. Did not disappoint. The house is so impressive and super comfy beds made for a great weekend. Cindy was an attentive host showing us around (although with such a big house we still got lost every now and again) and making organising the stay so easy. While we had a staycation, I can see how the grounds would be the perfect setting for a wedding!

We stayed in January and what a truly wonderful house! Lovely location, and the grounds and house are amazing! Everyone loved it when they saw it and it made the weekend just perfect! Rooms are all stunning and well kept. The hostess’ were on hand if we needed anything and were super helpful. The hot tub was lovely aswell! The dining area was just a beautiful location for our afternoon tea. Everyone loved the fireplaces, which were gorgeous for the winter nights! We will definitely return in the future should an Occasion arise!

Absolutely beautiful location, nothing was to much, I am vegetarian and the food was beautiful also I can have issues with some alcohols, Hannah from behind the bar went above and beyond ensuring that all the alcohol I consumed that evening was vegetarian or vegan…… this may I add was quiet a lot, many thanks for your kindness.

Had a fab time at my friends baby shower! The staff were amazing and catered to our every need especially Hannah the bar manager who had the patience of a Saint with our ever changing orders and requests. Would definitely return

Teresa Thank-you so much the food was out of this world the guests enjoyed it so much after a very emotional time of the year for our family cindy and her team made the best day of our life’s real. Thankyou Julie she was an absolute pleasure she organised everything and calmed me down when i was nervous she was flying around all night looking after everyone shes an absolute star. Wow what can I say about this amazing place. It’s been 6 weeks since myself and my wife got married, and on receiving our photos today it reminded us of why we chose Walcot Hall and why we fell in love x The place is beautiful and full of character, and feels like a home rather than a just a house. The staff …..wow phenomenal!!! Teresa, Julie, Hannah and everyone else involved go above and beyond and make the day as individual and quirky as you want. Insisting we wanted outdoor wedding….not a problem, we have umbrellas, we can make it work, nothing stopped us and we were made to feel like the most important people in the world xx Having the whole house for the wedding made it feel both relaxed and full of energy. The bar was well stocked and Hannah was always on hand to keep the drinks flowing xx Our first meeting with Cindy she promised to make our dreams a reality, and make our wedding magical and unique, and she was right, everyone made it perfect for us. We was reminded that our day was for us, and our ideas was all that mattered even if people had to sit in the rain, or get cold haha x I just wish we could do it again, Teresa and Julie become your family when planning your wedding, and the only negative I have to say is you miss them when it’s over xxx

Wow. What an amazing place. From stepping into this beautiful manor to walking out we was welcomed into this lovely ladies home (Cindy). Staff including the bar tender are very accommodating and friendly. The food was lovely, having afternoon tea and breakfast, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you to Chris and Shanade for inviting myself and my husband to your wedding which meant that we could enjoy this venue and stay at Walcot Hall.Every bedroom is classy and cosy. Highly recommend this stunning Manor and its beautiful grounds xx

Excellent experience at walcot, staff so friendly and go above and beyond for you… stayed last week and enjoyed every minute, so peaceful, rooms are stunning and the views are amazing to wake up to. Would definitely go back and stay again, I would recommend walcot to everyone I speak to asking for a place to stay… walcot feels like a million miles away with the welcome you get and it’s so clean and tidy. Brilliant all round.

I recently been to my friends wedding the other weekend, absolutely stunning location and surroundings. The staff were very friendly. It was just a magical experience on the day. The staff itself where helpful and the tables were beautifully set out . It’s truly ideal location for anybody’s wedding or a christening reception as we went a few years ago for our family christening , we didn’t get the chance to sleepover but it would’ve been nice x

Stayed here when my friend got married and was blown away by the place. The location was stunning. The wedding was beautiful and the staff had gone above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The service we received was second to none and I kept saying alday how professional the whole event was. Anyone looking for a stunning affordable wedding venue, look no further this place would take some beating xx

I went to a wedding here last saturday and was disappointed by the level of service the bride and groom recieved! The owner walks around looking for reasons to keep your deposit and eventually went over to the bride telling her she had lost hers during her big day over small issues. Bar staff were rinsing glasses in ice buckets then serving both the glasses and the ice. Half a cold bacon sandwich was served for breakfast and the venue didn’t have enough food to cater for all of the guests. The owner was walking around the venue in her Pyjamas the following morning and let her dogs run around whilst people were trying to pack away their belongings, one of the dogs bit my sister during this time! Jackie the wedding coordinator was great and the venue itself is lovely, it’s such a shame that everyone else let’s this place down.

Went to a wedding here last Saturday. Quite frankly was appalled by the level of service the guests and the couple received from this venue.

Drinks were ludicrously expensive, £5 for a bottle of 330ml coors light. Just seems greedy to me, they must be making quite some markup on that. The woman at the bar was washing glasses in the ice bucket which is unhygienic, and then serving people ice from that same bucket in their drinks! I wouldn’t say we got what we paid for by any means.

Additionally, the owner of the venue told the bride she was losing some of her deposit during the wedding, which upset her during her big day. This seems hugely unprofessional to me, surely that can wait until after the event.

I stayed in one of the rooms during the night. Breakfast was supposed to be included. They brought out a cold bacon roll cut in half for everyone, except me and my wife who were told there was none left! So we had to find breakfast elsewhere.

The venue is beautiful but the level of service is amateur. I would steer clear.

I want to first make clear that we stayed with a different wedding venue (the original wedding venue went into liquidation and the new owners are upholding original promises and my fiancé felt it difficult to pull away from it)

When our wedding venue went into liquidation the lovely ladies here reached out to us to help us out and to get us in quickly to discuss their wedding venue and to figure out what they could do to make our life’s as easy as possible and to remove any stress that we have. Both ladies took the time to listen to what we felt and what we was looking for and really took the time to respond to any questions we had. Both ladies are incredible and have incredible passion and understanding and whoever goes with them will be extremely well looked after.

Thank you for the work you did looking after us. It was extremely close between here and the other wedding venue, and despite choosing the other wedding venue I am still highly recommending the amazing venue this is abs the lovely ladies running it. Please keep up the incredible passion and hard work you’re doing. Wishing you all the best in your future 🙂

That statement couldn’t be more true! Nothing could prepare us for the bespoke wedding we recieved. Not even in our imagination could we fathom the true beauty, thoughtfulness and heartfelt love that Walcot Hall Estate and the Walcot family/staff could provide. Being an non-traditional couple, most venues struggled to supply us with our wedding wants and needs, however Walcot catered for them all. Walcot’s uniqueness matched our quirkiness. They helped us realise our vision. We could not have wished for a better wedding and to be supported by the most gracious staff, truly Cindy and Teresa worked so well to make our fairytale Wedding a reality.

First Class !. We contacted Cindy to enquire whether it was possible to have the venue for a “wake”, for my late mother in law. Although the venue had no experience of a wake, everything went brilliantly and the hall and its surroundings are stunning. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Thank You !

A lovely wedding venue for both indoor and outdoor celebrations. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. The food and entertainment was excellent. We really enjoyed a beautiful wedding.

Me and my partner have stayed here twice now, first we stayed in the yurt and it was so romantic and felt so comfortable, cindy the owner went out of her way to make us feel welcome and provided amazing hospitality, we booked on short notice so cindy wasn’t aware of us arriving so the yurt was not ready, we took a lovely stroll round the grounds and we come back to something that looked like paradise and for a young couple, We even got a discount on the price because of this.. the night was that good we had to come back the following weekend for 2 nights, we arrived to the lodge and had the perfect weekend, can not wait to come back!

My wife and I had our wedding at Walcot Hall this August. Originally we had booked Walcot just over a year ago but for obvious reasons, our wedding date was delayed twice. Throughout this period, Cindy the owner was attentive and maintained excellent communication.

We were initially sold on Walcot as our venue of choice due to a multitude of reasons. Firstly, the house and grounds are picturesque and idyllic – fantastically maintained and Cindy is constantly working to improve on the already-fantastic services that the property can provide.

In addition to this, the wedding packages at Walcot are clearly laid out, comprehensive and customisable. Any tweaks or alterations that we wanted to make were no trouble at all and Cindy has excellent connections to caterers, DJs and other services that one would hope to be part of their special day.

A special mention has to go to the team working on Cindy’s behalf, who worked tirelessly to ensure that my wife and I had the special day that we had always wanted.

If you are in the Lincolnshire area and considering Walcot Hall for your wedding venue, then I urge you to visit – you will not be disappointed!

Afternoon tea at Walcot Hall was amazing, what a special experience at this lovely venue. Having been born and brought up in Alkborough but never having been into Walcot Hall I was curious and it certainly didn’t disappoint. A very warm welcome from Cindy and Sally who really looked after us but were not at all intrusive. The food was amazing and plentiful and the Pimms and tea and coffee topped up. We were also invited to stroll around the grounds and explore the yurt, it was just a perfect afternoon.
