The stunning farmhouse at Greens Norton House blends the elegance of a five-star hotel with the allure of the countryside. The property boasts lovely views of Northamptonshire’s rolling countryside and two acres of mature gardens. Up to 28 people can sleep in the house’s nine exquisitely furnished bedrooms. For larger groups, a three-bedroom apartment is also available for an additional fee.

One excellent illustration of functional luxury is the kitchen. It’s a great place for informal family breakfasts and elegant dinner preparations because it has an AGA, a double oven, multiple dishwashers, refrigerators, and a freezer. The dining room is ideal for festive meals and special occasions because it features a specially designed table to accommodate large gatherings.

The living spaces thoughtfully incorporate both communal and private areas. For instance, the games room features games for people of all ages, and the living room features a log burner for cosy evenings. To ensure that everyone could sleep well, we ensured that every bedroom was aesthetically pleasing and comfortable.

The meticulous landscaping of the grounds has created numerous outdoor living spaces ideal for unwinding and having fun. The property is a fantastic location for special events and family vacations because it has both practical features and opulent touches.

Location and Things to Do

Greens Norton House is located just outside the picturesque village of Greens Norton, two miles from Towcester. The A43, less than two miles away, provides easy access to the M1 and M40, with the nearest railway station in Northampton. Convenient for both London and the Midlands, it’s about an hour’s drive from London and Birmingham, and 45 minutes from Oxford.

The village offers a lovely pub, post office, and local stores for supplies. Nearby attractions include Silverstone Circuit, National Trust properties, gastropubs, and a range of activities from F1 to llama trekking.

The house dates back to the 1600s with additions that came in both 1800s and again in the 1900s. Prior to Matthew owning Greens Norton House, it was in the same family for over 90 years.

Excellent large and well appointed house. Lots of character in the whole place. For us it was a great place to gather all the family from grandparents to young nephews, nieces and great grand nephews and grand nieces. Lots of activities available for all and spacious grounds in lovely rural setting. Highly recommended

We had the most incredible stay in this beautiful house. The owners have thought of everything!! The kitchen was spacious and and so well equipped. We LOVED sitting round the massive dining table. Its rare to find somewhere to fit 28 people in comfort. The kids all enjoyed the garden games and of course the games room. We wish we didn’t have to come home!!
