Anyone can get married at a stunning venue with amazing views, but not everyone can say they were made to feel so at home with the best team who made the day what is was. The venue team are with you every step of the way to ensure your day goes as planned. You’re made to feel like it’s a second home and that you’re part of the family when you visit.

If you’re considering booking a viewing for your future wedding, just be careful as you won’t want to go anywhere else!!

If you’re looking for a wedding venue that feels truly magical, Plas Dinam is it. The house is absolutely stunning and made the perfect backdrop for our summer wedding in June 2025. It has everything you and your guests could possibly need, and all the rooms are so beautifully kept – it really does feel special the moment you arrive. One of the biggest reasons we chose Plas Dinam was the team who run it. Jennie, our coordinator, was amazing from start to finish – always happy to answer our questions, excited about our ideas, and great at reminding us that the place was ours to make our own for the few days we were there. She really cared about our vision and was just as enthusiastic as we were! On the day itself, Jennie worked her magic in the background, making sure everything ran smoothly without ever feeling intrusive. Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If we could do it all again, we’d choose Plas Dinam in a heartbeat. Thank you so much Plas Dinam Team, Love, Sophie & Toby 🙂

We’d searched far and wide for a large, comfortable house in which to host a sizeable family gathering. Plas Dinam looked great on the website… but exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived. The bedrooms were all very well-appointed and comfortable and we loved the quality of bed linen; the large communal areas of dining hall and sitting rooms had a well-judged, ambient warmth and we very much liked the Arts and Crafts detailing both inside and out. The views of the grounds from all rooms enhanced the sense of grandeur and seclusion that adds value to a gathering of this significance. The Chauffeur’s Loft was just right for our latecomer guest. We appreciated the plentiful supply of firewood. To summarize, we were delighted. We highly recommend the place and are now planning the excuse for our next visit.

I recently stayed at Plas Dinam with my large family and close friends. It is the third time we have stayed at this magnificent property, set in incredible grounds with wonderful views. The downstairs is full of character and beautifully furnished – it also has rooms ideal for younger children (toys, dressing up clothes, games, table tennis and more), which suited our group aged between 2 and 74 years. The facilities are first class. We had an outside caterer deliver our meals and it worked out wonderfully. Thank you Plas Dinam, we had a great few days, and to Eldrydd and Tyson who are very welcoming and can be contacted easily, if needed.

I photographed a wedding at Plas Dinam Country House last year and had a great experience. The staff were really helpful and accommodating with a great eye of detail. Friendly and family run, Plas Dinam is refreshingly relaxed – couples can choose their own suppliers & bring their own drinks. Giving their couples freedom to personalise their wedding day. Plas Dinam’s lake is a real treat for couple portraits and elopements. Although we didn’t make it down to the lake this time, newlywed portraits of W & C around Plas Dinam’s grounds are some of my favourites. Myself and 30 Friends just shared a magical birthday celebration here for my 50th. The house was beautiful, warm, comfy and welcoming. Thank you to Eldryyd and Tyson for all your help. We loved our stay.

We recently had our wedding weekend celebration at Plas Dinam Country House and it was everything we had imagined it would be and more!

The house and the grounds are all so beautiful. The house is the perfect space to entertain and relax with guests (we had 35 staying in the house with us and a further 10 in the loft and the lodge for 2 nights and there was ample space). The space felt like a home away from home, so calm and relaxing with so many different rooms to chose from. All of our guests were blown away by the house and its grounds. Lots of our guests (those brave enough in October!) also got to enjoy the wild swimming lake which was an added bonus. The rooms are very generous in size, with comfortable beds and amazing views.

Plas Dinam is the perfect venue to host a wedding as it has so many different spaces to hold your ceremony and drinks reception. As we were getting married in October, we chose the Great Hall for our ceremony location and it was perfect and felt so intimate even with 96 people in the room! We then had our wedding reception down in The Stables which was stunning. You are free to style and decorate the room as you wish which makes each wedding feel so unique. We also loved that the dance floor was off to the side of the main stables and ample space for a photobooth without having to move any of the tables.

We really cannot recommend Plas Dinam enough and would like to say a huge thank you to Lou, Eldrydd, Tyson and the rest of the Plas Dinam staff for making our weekend so special.

Plas Dinam was, by chance, the very first venue we came across when researching our wedding. We did not realise quite how special it was until it slowly dawned on us as we catalogued another hundred or so venues, none of which came anywhere close!

We were fortunate to find a weekend gap in their almost fully booked calendar – in August 2025 – that all of our close family and friends could make. Although this gave us only three months to plan and prepare, from our first conversation with Katie, Plas Dinam’s unflappable wedding coordinator, we were in excellent hands.

All of the people we worked with at Plas Dinam and beyond – from the dedicated suppliers to the landlady of the local pub (The Lion Inn) – were really and truly lovely: patient, helpful, generous and fun. The planning process could have been daunting and stressful – there’s a huge amount to think about and organise for a multiday wedding – but it was a genuine pleasure.

The actual wedding was like a dream (a really good one!). The house and grounds are as magnificent as they look in the photos, but also cosy and homely – like a huge sleepover with all your best friends. The house team quietly kept the wedding running smoothly, around which we – and our guests – had so much freedom to do the things that felt meaningful and fun for us.

People cautioned us, from their own experience, that our wedding would pass in a flash, but to us it felt like time had been paused. From our over-excited arrival on the Friday, to our bleary-eyed departure on the Monday, lifetimes had passed in which all of the people we know and love had somehow become one big group of friends. I think that is the magic of Plas Dinam. If you have the chance to experience it, do so!

Had the best weekend celebrating the wedding of our daughter and now son-in-law. The venue is idyllic. The setting is picturesque. Everything went to plan.

We recently had our wedding weekend celebration at Plas Dinam Country House, from Friday 18 – Monday 21 July and it completely exceeded our expectations.

There really are no words to describe how special this place is. The house is beautiful, extremely spacious (we had 33 guests staying for 3 nights and there was plenty of space) and thoughtfully designed. The space feels calming and peaceful, and not dated or pretentious. All of our guests were blown away by the house and it’s grounds. The views, gardens and connection to nature is wonderful and it’s also sustainably managed, which was also important to us. We also got to enjoy the wild swimming lake which was an added bonus. The rooms are very generous in size, with comfortable beds, amazing views, robes and towels etc and the bathrooms all had great facilities.

For weddings Plas Dinam is perfect as it has lots of different spaces for ceremonies, as well as drinks receptions. We were lucky to have good weather and held our ceremony in the woodland which was magical. However we really liked the Great Hall, should we have needed an indoor option. Then having the back lawn with it’s views for drinks was another surprise for our guests. We held our wedding meal and party in the Stables which had a really unique, spacious and charming atmosphere – the glass roof with fairy lights looks incredible once the sun goes down! Also having the dancefloor as part of the building was perfect as it meant we didn’t have to move our guests out to clear any tables/chairs.

The team at Plas Dinam are lovely and were a big draw when considering which wedding venue to book. The fact that the house is family owned and has been kept for generations, makes this venue feel genuine and not just another wedding factory. Louise our wedding coordinator was fantastic, relaxed and friendly but completely on top of everything and spent lots of time replying to our emails, whatsapp messages and calls to talk through and consider every detail.

We were also extremely impressed by the suppliers who were recommended by Plas Dinam. Luna Bloom, a recommended florist and Tallulah & Co for catering were both exceptional and we got countless comments from guests about how beautiful the flowers were and how good the food was! Also having no corkage and party end time of 12:30AM which was a real plus compared to other venues we looked at.

Having Plas Dinam over the full weekend meant we also got to host a relaxed BBQ for house guests on Friday. It was wonderful to have full access to the house, and get to treat it like your own holiday home – as our guests were able to meet and relax before the big day. Also on Sunday we hired a local caterer to provide lunch for our wedding guests, under the large stretch tent which came in very handy when we had some rain.

Overall it was better than we ever could have hoped for and could not recommend Plas Dinam enough!

Really lovely estate. It was like back to nature. The house / main building has plenty of sitting areas. The bread oven was perfect for pizza. The shower pressure was perfect!

Every single person from Plas Dinam was amazing throughout the whole planning process and over our wedding weekend. We felt so relaxed and well looked after.

Plas Dinam is so much more than a wedding venue—it almost feels like an injustice to call it that. It’s a place we’ll treasure forever. Choosing Plas Dinam for your wedding means choosing a team that genuinely takes the time to get to know you. In return, you feel like part of the place, even part of the family (cringe to say—but honestly, it’s true!). It’s an honour to feel a connection to such a breathtakingly beautiful space, in every sense. I had the absolute pleasure of getting to know Lou and Katie over our two years of planning. Both are incredibly warm, organised, and generous with their time—nothing ever felt like too much to ask. They were always there when we needed them, but also gave us the space and trust to plan the day our own way. There were no rigid rules—just support—allowing us to create a celebration that felt truly ‘us.’ I’m so grateful for that freedom and care. Plas Dinam strikes the perfect balance: they offer a brilliant list of trusted, lovely suppliers, but also give you the flexibility to bring in your own ideas and personal touches. We were lucky with the weather and had our ceremony outdoors, which was magical—but even if it hadn’t worked out that way, there was a solid, clear plan in place, which gave us total peace of mind. Being able to stay the night before and set up the day ahead was such a gift. It meant we could relax and fully soak up the wedding day itself, knowing everything was taken care of. Our guests were absolutely blown away by the venue, and I honestly can’t thank the amazing Plas Dinam team enough. It was the most unforgettable experience—and it’s all thanks to them.

There was plenty of room to accommodate our weekend and day guests, with lovely characterful bedrooms across two levels and spacious bathrooms, a well-equipped family kitchen, and two large reception rooms with stunning views. We chose to have an outdoor ceremony in April and had zero regrets – Plas Dinam and its grounds provided an incredible backdrop and it was great to have so many options (thanks to Eldrydd, Tyson, Lou, and their team for their flexibility and support!). The glass-roofed Stables was a special place to host our wedding breakfast and live music, and we opted to have a fire pit outside, which created a cosy evening atmosphere.

What a place! Needless to say, we (and our guests!) would love to come back in future!

Amazingly beautiful and peaceful place. Attended a Spiritual Retreat here and it was the ideal place to relax,and be attuned to nature. The grounds were gorgeous,and the lake,and walk to it, was wonderful. A charismatic and history filled building. Highly recommended

Plas Dinam is a dream place to get married at! We planned our wedding from NZ and had such great support from our wedding coordinators. We fell in love with the place from online pictures/ videos and then the FaceTime tour we got. We got married early October and the weather was gorgeous! The place was blooming still with so many beautiful flowers, and some of the trees had started turning autumn colors so it all felt very magical. The place is just gorgeous. Being a DIY venue allows complete flexibility in how you want it to be. Everyone who attend said they loved how beautiful and relaxed the whole day was. Those who stayed loved the pizza oven the night before! I do recommend you choosing a team to help make pizzas though, and luckily we had family to help on the evening otherwise we’d have been stuck cooking all night! The pizzas are very quick to cook, but it was the prep work we didn’t prepare for. We ordered pizza dough from Andy’s bread a recommended supplier of the venue and it was amazing! The venue has lots of items you can use on the day left over from previous weddings, such as lanterns, chalk boards for a sign and vases for tables, so just ask. We didn’t realize this until we got there but it came in handy when we didn’t have enough table runners and my mom forgot to bring the lanterns! The lighting in the stables was gorgeous when it went dark, and really set the scene! Eldrydd and Tyson were both very helpful with any queries too. The main house sleeps up to 38 guests which made our wedding feel so homely over the three days. I would recommend hiring an MC to help coordinate the flow of the day, and also accepting the clean up service the venue offers after the wedding night, so you can just pack up and leave in the morning.

Wow! The beautiful house and grounds of Plas Dinam were the perfect setting for our wedding. We wanted a venue where our family and friends could have a staycation in a remarkable location and witness our wedding in between – well Plas Dinam was just that! With the added bonus of choice for your ceremony and reception, our set-up wasn’t restricted by the weather. Incredibly we had idyllic weather during our three day take over of PD – making use of the garden games on the front lawns, ceremony on the back lawn under the blazing sun – cooling off with canapes under the stretch tent and feasted the evening away in the Stables. The house felt very homely and had plenty of space for everyone to relax and socialise, whilst the Stables are so rustic and unique. It was great to have two separate spaces, so the older family could retire to the house whenever they wanted. We only booked our date 7 months prior and the PD Team could not have been more flexible and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble and they were always on hand. On the day our wedding co-ordinator Katie was calm and considerate, allowing us both to relax. These guys know it all – I don’t think you can get any better than Plas Dinam!

My husband and I could not have asked for any more from this wedding Venue. The staff were fantastic and supportive. From the initial visit to the day of the wedding they kept us informed and were professional. They kept the lines of communication open for us to ask questions and were extremely flexible so that we could have the wedding of our dreams. Would 100% recommend.

The second we pulled up at Plas Dinam we knew it was the venue for us – Lou, our wedding coordinator, put us at ease and gave us plenty of time to explore the venue, answering any questions we had. There are a range of places you can choose to get married – from outdoors to indoors, grand hall to green lawn; at Plas Dinam you can really make the whole day your own and take the reigns in terms of design, timings and suppliers for the big day. We loved that we could put our own stamp on the place and bring our vision to life. The fact we could have so many family and friends staying onsite with us was also a massive win – and the house is fantastic! All the original features have been maintained and the bedrooms are beautiful, in between the madness of setting up and getting ready – it felt like a holiday! For fellow Welsh people; you don’t need to go to England to get what you’re looking for, the venue of your dreams is closer to home! 😉

Plas Dinam Country House is the ultimate fairy-tale wedding venue. Two weeks on from our wedding, I am still pinching myself because it feels unreal to have had our wedding at such a sensational location. The house combines a unique feeling of majesty, homeliness and exclusivity all at once; your imagination really is the limit for how to style your weekend and wedding. I personally think that the most unique selling point for this venue is that your wedding is wrapped up in an intimate weekend away with friends and family (there are a number of accommodation options on site), not only did this give our nearest and dearest an opportunity to meet one another before the big day, but it also gave us the chance to settle in and fully relax before we walked down the aisle! We used the days prior to the wedding to set up the stables, have a Team Bride versus Team Groom rounders match and host a pizza party using the house pizza oven! Plas Dinam’s owners and wedding coordinators are fabulous and were on hand throughout the planning process and over the wedding weekend itself to advise, support and facilitate key events. Katie, Eldrydd and Tyson are all phenomenal at what they do and have created an idyllic set up at Plas Dinam. Our wedding weekend will live with us and our friends and family forever. Lou was always at the end of an email/Whatsapp to answer any queries and give advice, she was amazing and made us feel completely at ease from the very beginning.

Due to the time of year and number of guests, we held our wedding in the house and it was just perfect. We had an intimate ceremony in the gorgeous drawing room, drinks and canapés in the sitting room and feasting in the great hall. In the evening, the drawing room was transformed into a dance floor with a sound system set up by a great local company.

The house and lodge accommodated all of our guests over the Easter weekend. The house is beautiful, full of history and extremely well equipped. On Sunday, we made use of the onsite pizza oven which was fantastic and a great way to get everyone involved in the cooking! I can’t imagine a more perfect blend of professionalism and hands-off management for a wedding venue. They were flexible enough to let us (the couple) arrive a day before the official first night, and aside from a short planning meeting early the next day, the house was ours to entertain with. All the guests could get comfortable and feel totally at ease and we were free to host as we liked . On the day of the wedding, everything for the ceremony, reception, and party was completely organised without any input from us and we could simply get ready for the day. Katie was so helpful and kind on the day that I felt like I had an extra bridesmaid.

This is of course just on the day – but the whole lead up was equally as wonderful! We wanted an outdoors style wedding in winter and they made everything possible, even to the point of doing things in a way they’d not done before! My partner was always contacting them with questions and requests and they gave him great answers, went above and beyond, and gave us both a lot of reassurance and advice. Our recommendations: – book the fire pit for an outdoor wedding! – book the pizza oven for the night before the wedding and order the dough from the recommended supplier (Andy, I think?) – Wild Garlic are awesome caterers and have a lot of experience at Plas Dinam – i think they even designed the stables kitchen – plus they’re as kind and flexible as Katie, Eldrydd and Tyson (i.e. very) – The Lodge is great for families with little kids to get away from the main house. We managed to comfortably fit a lot of people in the Lodge. – if you’re self catering for breakfast or providing drinks, do a big Morrisons order to the house – make sure you get some time to wander round the gardens! I’m sure there’s loads more to say that I’ve forgotten, but we honestly had a fantastic time and i doubt it would’ve have been so perfect anywhere else. A lot of our guests said it was the best wedding venue they’d ever experienced and even our dog didn’t want to leave.

You will find Plas Dinam House in an almost hidden location with stunning views of the Mid Wales countryside from every window and a cosy home from home feel in every room. The grounds are a delight and a pleasure to stroll around and explore. The house provides a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere to enjoy catching up with groups of friends and family. The kitchen facilities are maintained so that self catering is effortless and a great option to provide all guests with a varied choice of dining arrangement options. The bedrooms are all beautifully decorated and comfortable, with all amenities provided (including cosy dressing gowns) and the original features are still maintained in the bathrooms which makes the experience even more authentic. Both the owners and staff are accommodating and helpful but not intrusive or overbearing which is a perfect combination for a holiday in the countryside. Thanks to all who put their efforts into making this hidden countryside gem a pleasure to experience.

Such a beautiful place, in a stunning setting. We stayed here in December 2023. Eldrydd and Tyson are fantastic, approachable and friendly hosts. We stayed as group of family and friends, celebrating together. We have been previously for family celebrations, definitely a hit with everyone. Plas Dinam seems to absorb the whole crowd, but remains homely. We can spend the days outdoors enjoying all there is to offer, escape to our rooms to relax and unwind before getting ready and partying the night away. Fabulous.

The team at Plas Dinam went out of their way to accommodate all of our family on a recent visit. We all stayed including my nephew who has special needs and my elderly father. They couldn’t have been kinder and more accommodating. Nothing seemed too much trouble and we all had a great time. Plas Dinam is set in the most beautiful grounds and Welsh countryside. The house itself is magnificent – beautifully decorated and super comfortable and enormous! We went to a party in The Stables which is a fantastic venue – super cool and unusual with lots of original features. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

We stayed from Thursday evening to Sunday morning with family and friends, having open air cinema showings in the gardens, playing pool in the billiards room and using the pizza oven onsite too, all before the wedding on Saturday. This venue is truly FANTASTIC! We cannot recommend enough!

We had our wedding weekend here! I cant even begin to explain our experience. The house and grounds itself are absolutely stunning, it all went so perfectly. We had a pizza party on the Friday night using their pizza oven, Saturday the morning of the wedding was unreal, we went for a walk to the swimming lake and went for a swim, it was glorious. Such a chilled and magical experience. It’s your house for the weekend so everyone genuinely felt at home and when we needed help Louise was on the other end of the phone, she was brilliant throughout the whole process and guided us to the perfect weekend and wedding. We got most of our suppliers from a list they provided with trusted suppliers of everything and there was not one disappointment. Worth every penny, if only we could take everyone back there for our first anniversary highly highly recommended!!

The most perfect wedding venue!

We got married in Plas Dinam in April, and the entire weekend was a dream from start to finish. I couldn’t go any further without mentioning the truly wonderful Louise, who was the most organized, chill, kind person who helped the whole day go off without a hitch.

Our guests were in awe of the beauty of Plas Dinam, and we were so lucky we got to have our ceremony outside with the stunning backdrop of the mountains. The stables were the perfect space for a big party in the evening! All the staff were incredible and made the day run so smoothly!

We had the most idyllic and special time at a Plas Dinam wedding in early June. The grounds are stunning and fabulous to explore – we went for a wander up to the lake and a swim. It’s spacious yet intimate as a venue – the stables area was beautifully laid out with a convenient bar area and dance floor all within reach for your guests, alongside the converted stable for the loos. Utterly delicious menu and super friendly staff, we were spoilt. We glamped which was close by, convenient and very comfortable. Right next to the horses which was fabulous. Lots of loos/showers to share for the happy campers. Such wonderful memories of an amazing day. Thank you to the Davies family who are very welcoming and have created a wonderful experience for guests.

I was recently invited to the most glorious wedding at Plas Dinum. It really is the most perfect spot for a wedding. Beautiful house set in the most gorgeous grounds. The garden looked absolutely stunning with all the flowers out. Wedding ceremony in the trees near the front of the house, drinks on the back lawn and dinner and dancing in the stables. We even all managed a swim in the natural pools. It was also so nice to stay on site. I stayed in the Lodge House but there is also glamping. A perfect wedding. Thank you to the Davies family who were wonderful hosts.

Rented the whole house for a corporate team building event. Loved the size, interiors, character and history behind this house. There are lovely and peaceful surroundings, and easy access to local hiking trails and Snowdonia park. There are stables with lovely horses. There are plenty of bedrooms, but not all with ensuite. No complaints about cleanliness. There were hot water, towels and soaps there, a hairdryer in my room. So just take your flip-flops. Heating was working (however with a strange behavior, turning off in the evening, when the room was turning into a refrigerator for a couple of hours, maybe programmed like that). The kitchen is massive, with cooling room, fridges, 2 cookers, toaster, coffee machine, lots of cutlery and cups. So fantastic if you will cook yourself. There is a washing machine and a tumble dryer, very needed for longer stays.

We did not do outdoor entertainment much, the tennis court was not in good condition and weather was bad, but played a lot table tennis and snooker indoor, that was fun. Snooker room is amazing! There is even an Xbox, but only with one joystick and rubbish games.

I did not give 5 starts due to many small maintenance issues around, loose handles, toilets not properly flushed, a slow shower drain etc. Also WIFI signal was weak in some main rooms downstairs. As we had to work, that was a bit trouble, so we had to relocate and look for a stronger signal. No WIFI at all at upper level in the bedrooms.

So overall, positive impression and good memories. Recommended.

We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Plas Dinam to other couples looking for a beautiful venue that they can make their own for a whole weekend, not just their one special wedding day. Everything was even better than we’d hoped for over the weekend we got married, and many of our guests commented that they would be recommending the venue to others in the future. We got engaged in January 2020 which meant trying to find a venue during lockdown which was a scary experience, but from the hour Eldrydd spent on a video call to us showing us around, we knew Plas Dinam was perfect for us and that it was owned by some really special people who hugely care about your experience The whole planning process was very smooth with the wonderful Louise guiding us where we asked for help, making useful suggestions of how she had seen people use the space before and suggesting their top suppliers, but also being very chilled about letting us do what we wanted and use the suppliers we found ourselves. It was the perfect balance. Plas Dinam was the only venue we found that offered the full spectrum between a DIY wedding if that’s what you wanted, but with options for full bar service, catering on site etc if you’d rather they took it out of your hands.

We hired the house for a 4 day weekend, meaning we could host a karaoke night in the Drawing Room on the Thursday we arrived, with Tyson (one of the owners) helping us to set up and use the original bread oven for the house to make pizzas that night for around 30 of our guests that were staying. On the Friday we did our own set up of the stables for our reception the next day, and many of our guests visited local towns and went on countryside walks/swimming in the river during the day as we has spectacular weather. Our wedding was on Saturday and it all went so smoothly – Louise was there all day handling things in the background so that we didn’t even notice and could really enjoy getting ready without worrying about what needed to be done. We knew we were in safe hands. We had our ceremony on the back lawn overlooking the stunning hills, following by a drinks reception in that area, before moving down to the stables for speeches, food and dancing. We had 96 at our wedding and the stables was the perfect space for us – it felt busy without having our guests crammed in and we were able to have the tables in a banquet style arrangement to encourage different groups to interact. The dancefloor was a great size for all our guests plus a live band.

We were so lucky to then be able to host a second event on the Sunday and have many of our guests return for a sports day on the front lawn. It was great to be able to use a different area of the grounds to make the days feel different with the backdrop of the beautiful house, and we hired in BBQ and ice cream caterers who set up in front of the house to feed everyone. That night, after only our guests staying in the house were left, two of friends hosted a quiz in the Great Hall which was an amazing end to the whole weekend.

It meant we really got to spend time with everyone we invited. We filled the house with our closest family and bridal party, and had other close friends staying in the tents on site too. We rented Plas Dinam for our wedding at the end of October and couldn’t have been happier with the venue itself and the team – they are wonderful!

Plas Dinam is an exquisite venue. We received several compliments about the house, grounds and quirky stables. Most of our guests hadn’t been to anywhere like it and they all enjoyed the weekend (almost) as much as we did.

The bedrooms and bathrooms are all beautiful – there isn’t a bad room in the place and the living accommodation downstairs is extensive and offers plenty to do. The grounds are stunning and we enjoyed walking and exploring (with our dog).

One of the things we were most grateful of was the ability to make the weekend our own and we were lucky to have three nights there so we could prepare beforehand and recover afterwards. This is something that sets Plas Dinam apart from other venues we had considered that had more than one wedding per week in many cases.

From our very first interactions with Eldrydd and her team, we knew we were in safe hands. They gave all the relevant information and answered our questions without being pushy at any stage. The team always made time for us, even when they would have had a number of other weddings and events to plan at the same time. Katie was our designated wedding coordinator and she was amazing. She was calm and completely unflappable and gave us an enormous confidence in how the day would run and was there for us every step of the way and she threw herself into any role required over the weekend (helping the housekeeping staff, feeding my dog, finding my spare shoes….absolutely anything she could do to help, she did).

I can’t thank the team enough for what genuinely was (as the title suggests) the best weekend of our lives and I just hope we can return one day. Thank you!

This venue was a beautiful setting for Maria & Roberts rustic, outdoor summer wedding. The staff, food, house and the grounds were all lovely and we were spoiled for choose when it came to locations for photos. We would love to go and shoot there again soon.

At the end of October 2022 we spent a wonderful family weekend at Plasdinam Country House to celebrate my 80th birthday. As one guest said ‘It was an incredible venue to host a landmark birthday celebration – a grand old house with a quirk and surprise around every beautifully crafted corner.’

The house was spacious and warm with wonderful autumnal views, the beds very comfortable and the showers powerful and hot at all times. The weather was mild with a few heavy showers but there was plenty to keep all age groups amused. Lots of walks in the spacious grounds and local area, games of snooker in the amazing billiard room, table tennis, TV and lots of places to relax and chat.

On the Saturday evening we had a lovely party in The Stables when other friends joined us. We highly recommend Chef David Rowles, who provided a feast of food which was enjoyed by all. We were entertained by Tommy Mills, a great guitarist and singer from the local area.

David also catered for our Friday night supper and Sunday lunch in the house, again much appreciated by everyone. He was very helpful at all times, as were Eldrydd and staff, who all made sure we had everything we needed to make it a happy and successful weekend.

Due to it being a November wedding we had planned for everything to be inside, and the rooms at Plas were beautiful and luckily our guests could experience the stunning gardens as well with the good weather. We got married in the great hall, which had enough space for 120 people to be seated. Louise made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the whole day and made for a stress free wedding. The stables were fantastic for our wedding reception and had plenty of space for all the twmpath dancing! Plas Dinam was a great venue, you get the whole place for the weekend and can plan the weekend you way it want to go. we had a very relaxed weekend approach with all of our guests coming and going over the weekend. I couldn’t recommend this venue more.

We had the most fantastic wedding in July 2022 thanks to the amazing team and surroundings at Plas Dinam. We booked our wedding during the height of Covid so we initially had a tour via Zoom with Lou and we instantly loved the venue. We both straight away felt the relaxed nature of Plas Dinam suited us and how we pictured our wedding. When we were able to visit in person a few months later we were surprised by how much it surpassed our expectations further.

We then started booking our suppliers which was made easier by the Trusted Suppliers list received. We were able to choose vendors that knew the venue well but were also able to accommodate our thoughts and vision.

Lou and Eldrydd were always on hand for any questions we had throughout the whole process and all of our questions and requests were responded to quickly and always provided us with the reassurance and guidance we needed.

Having booked a relatively small mid-week wedding (2 nights) for our 40 guests the Plas Dinam team offered us as much flexibility as possible so we could set up and enjoy the venue both before and after our big day. We decided to have a BBQ the night before and had meat delivered from a local butcher. Everyone was able to mingle out on the lawn and enjoy the view. We hired both The Lodge and The Loft as well as the main house as it was important to us to have all our guests stay on-site with us which was a huge selling point of the venue.

On the wedding day Louise ensured that we had everything we needed and was a reassuring presence throughout. We held our ceremony under the archway at the front of the house and our reception on the lawn. The strong relationship between Wild Garlic and Plas Dinam meant that our canapé service was streamlined (and delicious!).

The staff provided by Plas Dinam both for the bar and the breakfast the morning after the wedding were so friendly and accomodating. We could not have asked for more and wish we could do it all again.

We will definitely be coming back back to visit again in the future!

We got engaged during the second lockdown of 2020 just before New Year. We decided to plan a wedding that would be full of optimism family and friends for 2022 as we knew how much that was needed.

When we first visited Plas Dinam we instantly knew this was where we would get married. We had already fallen for the glass roofed stables from the pictures we had seen online but the house and gardens cemented that this was the place for us.

Planning the wedding was a daunting task but with Plas Dinam’s recommended suppliers we were able to combine our own suppliers to create a day that was 100% ours. This wouldn’t have been possible without the very wonderful Louise, their wedding coordinator, who was on call to answer any questions no matter how silly throughout!

When booking your wedding at Plas Dinam, you get the whole place for two nights. This meant that we were able to make full use of the old bread oven which has now been converted to a wood fired pizza oven. With the help of Tyson and recommended supplier, David Rowles, friends and family chipped in to create their own pizzas. What was lovely about the first night was that close family and friends who were staying either in the house or glamping in the bell tents were able to settle in and have a lovely relaxing evening before the big day. It felt like we were on holiday and all of our favourite people were there.

The morning of the wedding was beautifully sunny which meant our guests could explore the area, lots went on walks, others played tennis on Plas Dinam’s tennis courts. Getting ready was a relaxed and wonderful experience; there was no need to worry about getting to a venue on time because we were already there! It was amazing looking out of the window and seeing the chairs had been set up on the lawn ready for the ceremony and later our guests as they arrived.

After a reception on the lawn we had our wedding breakfast at the stunning glass roofed stables. Our caterers were exceptional and the whole evening flowed seamlessly. We used one of the small stables to create a ball pit for the kids which went down a treat. As the evening got a bit chillier, suddenly out of nowhere a fully lit fire pit arrived on a fork lift! It truly was the most magical day and so many people told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to.

The house itself is steeped in history and so tastefully decorated. There are prints of the paintings that the Davies sisters bought and donated to the National Museum of Wales throughout the house. There’s also a museum room itself where you can learn more about David Davies. What a delight to find the perfect wedding venue with a positive history that contributed to the cultural heritage of Wales.

The only downside was that we didn’t get to swim in the secret lake and so we have every hope that we can return next summer for a dip! We can’t thank owners Eldrydd & Tyson enough!

The best of the best from start to finish. We had our wedding at Plas Dinam and it was fantastic from start to finish. Eldrydd, Tyson, Louise and team are FANTASTIC. They were amazing to deal with. Plas Dinam is beautiful surrounded by rolling Welsh hills. It’s an idyllic setting. Plas Dinam has so much history and beautiful items in the house. Incredibly, Eldrydd and Tyson are the most accommodating, approachable, flexible and relaxed owners we have ever worked with! Nothing was ever too much trouble. What we loved about Plas Dinam was it was not ostentatious. For example we used the stables for our wedding breakfast. However, during the winter it is used as a stable for the horses. It’s not called the “stables” to stick to a theme or make it sound more authentic. I cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you so much for making our wedding day the best day of our lives. Lastly and most importantly, there are NO hidden charges. They are fully transparent. What a place. what a team.

Janna and I booked out Plas Dinam for the bank holiday weekend in August and we couldn’t be happier with how our weekend was managed. Everything from the support we had in the months leading up to the event, to the service we experienced from the team from our arrival to our departure was exceptional. They simply did not miss a beat when following our requests for set up of the reception venue, arrangements with external suppliers and our programme for the day.

The picturesque house and grounds are kept in amazing condition and were provided fully equipped for us to manage our own self catering arrangements for the weekend. We opted for use of the Pizza oven on Friday night with Tyson (who was always available when needed) giving us a quick run down of how to use it. We managed to serve all of our guests on-site in no time at all and was so much fun – highly recommend this.

The stables where our reception was held is brilliant both from of a functional stand point and looks stunning too! It easily accommodated our circa 120 guests with space for lounge furniture, cake table, gift table etc and even had some spare rooms on the side. One of the greatest aspects of this venue is that the place is essentially yours for the weekend so you can reasonably customise your whole event and make it completely your own.

Katie, Louise and Eldrydd were obviously of great support prior to the wedding but what really surprised Janna and I is how far the team went to ensure that everything was perfect. We ran out of decorative material for our table runners on Friday whilst we were setting the reception venue, Katie noticing this, went out to Newtown of her own accord to go and find some more for us and brought it back the same evening for us to finish setting the stables. This gesture simply speaks volumes about the kind of service that we experienced and we both are ecstatic with how the weekend went.

Not to mention the amazing bar staff (shout out to Shona), groundsmen and all of the team who made the house look so pristine before and after our time there.

So many of our guests said it was one of the most spectacular venues they had been to and I have to say dancing on the lawn to a silent disco at sunset with the rolling hills as a backdrop will forever be a hard moment to top!!

We are SO glad we booked Plas Dinam as our wedding venue and look forward to revisiting for a reunion in the years to come!

My partner and I were looking for a venue that we could make our own (no packages, strict guidelines or standard decor) and came across Plas Dinam shortly after getting engaged. The house/venue is even more beautiful in person and I lost count of how many guests fell in love with the place, I can highly recommend it for a wedding or even just a group getaway. We also loved that the house had family history and was more relaxed than some other places we visited, which comes through when meeting Eldrydd and Tyson.

Eldrydd and the team were accommodating and patient with us as we had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID, despite having a weekday wedding it was more than we could have ever imagined! All our vendors did the most amazing job and only enhanced the already beautiful space.

I have to give a special shout out to Katie, our coordinator who went above and beyond the usual venue coordinator duties not only on the day but in the weeks and months leading up to it. She was a calm and organised voice on the day, helping make decisions I didn’t have the headspace or time to think about.

We spent three full days at Plas Dinam exploring the grounds and making use of the facilities – I highly recommend using the pizza oven, it was great fun for our us and our guests!

An amazing venue with staff that easily matched. We planned our wedding from New Zealand for 09/21; however due to COVID things got delayed. Eldrydd kindly showed us round the venue via zoom and we were able to change our dates for the following year without any issue. The help from Lou leading up to the big day as well as on the day itself was more than we could have hoped for and allowed us to enjoy the day without having to worry about the details. She also helped us think and organize things we hadn’t originally thought of, the best wedding coordinator we could have asked for. In terms of the venue itself, there were so many options for the ceremony, and we originally planned to have our wedding on the picturesque back lawn however our plans were thwarted by the rain! Thankfully during the summertime, they have a large stretch tent permanently up, so we were able to have the outdoor wedding we always wanted and because of the amazing house, drinks and canapés were seamlessly moved inside by the staff then outside when the weather finally cleared up. The stables were in themselves spectacular but also very easy to decorate and put our own personal touches to make it match our wedding themes.

Choosing to spend extra days in the house itself was the best decision we made, all the rooms were beautifully furnished and clean and even came with bathrobes! We only wish we would have been able to stay longer to fully enjoy it all. Accommodation for guests was also readily available via the glamping tents, we only wish ore had used them. We also rented the coach house down the drive which was a lovely addition to house even more of our family,

Plas Dinam was the perfect venue for our wedding. The location is beautiful and the stables allow you to be as creative as you want. The weather didn’t look great in the morning and the Plas Dinam team were so accommodating In letting us have multiple options depending on what the weather did, eventually the sun came out at the perfect moment and we had our ceremony on the back lawn overlooking the beautiful views. Guests have not stopped telling us what a brilliant day they had. We stayed over the weekend which made the recovery slightly easier not having to rush off! The whole weekend was relaxed everything we were hoping for. Could not recommend Plas Dinam enough!

From the photos it looked an absolutely stunning venue and as soon as we took a trip to mid Wales to view the house and grounds we knew it was the one for us as it was even better in person! Plas Dinam was the perfect wedding venue. We rented the whole house from Friday to Sunday and filled the bedrooms with guests which made for a great extended weekend of celebrations. Katie and Eldrydd really helped us make the place feel like our own and we felt so relaxed and comfortable whilst planning and during the weekend itself. They were also on hand and happy to help with anything we needed. When looking at other venues we found it was rare to truly have such a beautiful venue and then be able to build your own unique wedding day from scratch with as much or as little guidance as wanted or needed. Cannot recommend both the venue and the team highly enough!

Not only are the owners really communicative but the property is quite frankly stunning. So many beautiful bedrooms, two stunning lounges and a dinning room that is breath taking.

If you have a large family or group Plas Dinam is undeniably a property you should look into staying at.

We chose Plas Dinam as our wedding venue because of the beautiful countryside location and stunning house but also so we could have our family and bridal party stay on site with us as well as being able to decorate and really make it our own. Our wedding at Plas Dinam in September 2021 couldn’t have been more perfect and we loved being able to celebrate not just for one day but for four. We were really able to put our stamp on the venue and absolutely loved decorating the stables to make it our own. We cannot recommend Plas Dinam as a venue enough. If you’re wanting a relaxed, country, chic wedding venue then Plas Dinam has it all. The most beautiful house, in the most beautiful location. We wish we could do it all over again. I don’t even know where to start with this review, as I don’t think I’ll be able to put into words how amazing Plas Dinam and the team are.

We knew this was the wedding venue for us as soon as we saw it – the beautiful scenery, gorgeous house, breathtaking stables and the incredible team at Plas Dinam.

The venue truly is unique as you are able to hire it out exclusively for the entirety of your wedding. This is so special as it allows you to spend more than just one day with your guests. We had a pizza night on the Friday night before our wedding, which was so much fun! Tyson showed us how to use the oven and everyone enjoyed making their own pizza and socialising. We also hired out the lodge and the glamping tents as that enabled us to have a good number of our wedding party on site with us. It meant that everyone could explore the grounds and socialise before the wedding on the Saturday.

The true beauty of Plas Dinam is that it is a blank canvas. Eldrydd and her family are keen for you to make the wedding your own, so you really do get to create your own vision in the stunning stables. They are so helpful with any questions that you have along the way as you’re planning, they truly want your wedding to be everything you have imaged. Our wedding day went so smoothly due to all of Louise’s help. We didn’t have to worry about anything – it was perfect!

All of our friends and family commented on how beautiful the location was and also just how nice it was to be able to spend quality time together in such a gorgeous building.

It was our dream wedding venue and it honestly surpassed every expectation that we had. It truly was the best weekend ever and we can’t thank Eldyrdd, Tyson, and team enough!

We were lucky enough to stay at Plas Dinam for 4 nights in September for our wedding. Choosing to get married here was the best decision we made, it is so much more than just a wedding venue!

The wedding itself was everything we hoped it would be, a relaxed and happy day in the most wonderful setting. Eldrydd, Tyson and Lou were brilliant and made sure everything ran smoothly. We were even lucky with the weather!

What makes Plas Dinam extra special is the days around the wedding, we were able to spend so much time with our family and friends having so much fun! The house is full of socialising space and activities, great for a crowd, and the outside space is perfect for BBQs and garden games. And the location is stunning – we all went for a walk in the glorious hills behind the house, and some even went for a swim in the ponds!

Overall I cannot recommend Plas Dinam enough. Thank you for so many wonderful memories, I hope one day we will be back!

Plas Dinam Country House soon became our favourite place. From the moment we drove up the the winding path to the house, we knew it was the place for us. Not only could we enjoy the beautiful surroundings that Plas Dinam sits in, but we got to extend our wedding to enjoy a whole weekend at the house for our wedding. We arrived on Thursday to crisp sheets, enjoyed pizza facilitated by Tyson on Friday, our wedding on Saturday in the Stables and a BBQ on Sunday. We feel absolutely blessed!

Eldrydd allowed us to make the house our home for the weekend and no request was too big or none negotiable. They were kind throughout and determined to make sure that, despite to pandemic, we were to have the wedding we had planned at Plas Dinam.

On the day Louise was never far to check how things were going and to organise the various suppliers who were a part of our day. Everything was so smooth and we trusted that Louise was in control.

We had a wedding party on the 1st july 2021 at Plas Dinam. It was incredible. After a number of rescheduled dates we finally had our day. I am originally from the area and new the beauty of mid wales. Plas Dinam is set within this incredible landscape and so we new straight away that it was the perfect setting for us. The team were very supportive throughout the pandemic and we are thankful for all their efforts.

It is my absolute pleasure to write this review. I am not one to often write reviews for anything I like or dislike, but here I am writing this.

We hired Plas Dinam for our 5 day wedding/family reunion. It exceeded our expectations as well as our family’s. We chose this wonderful venue because it offered us a chance to take responsibility to plan our event specifically the way we wished as well as getting most of our family under one roof.

When looking for a venue we quickly realized that most places do not give much freedom in the planning side of things. For some that may be perfect, but for us we wanted something with more freedom. We gave ourselves 2 years to plan our event from the time we booked to the days we spent at Plas Dinam. Along the way the owners and staff were more than helpful and very easy to communicate with. We even felt that they sincerely wanted us to enjoy our event as much as we wanted to enjoy it. They gave us the freedom do do what we wished while also offering advice from experience hosting events.

There were no unexpected negative surprises at all. We knew exactly what to expect with the cost, amenities, and facility. Overall I would happily recommend Plas Dinam to anyone.

Such an amazing place with so many facilities and options for special occasions

This wonderful home takes you back in time! A room was devoted to the house and family history, we found it to be very interesting. Our stay was 3 nights and 4 days. We did a shoot on property over 3 thousand acres to explore. Our host was very accommodating!

Plas Dinam is the most magical place for a wedding. Our wedding in August was the most amazing day and the venue definitely made it. We had originally planned for an outdoor wedding, but the weather decided otherwise and the beautiful Drawing Room provided the most wonderful venue for our ceremony! The pictures were fabulous and the Old Stables were the most amazing setting for our reception! If you are looking for a beautiful venue in the heart of Wales with the most friendly, professional hosts, Plas Dinam is definitely the best choice! Thank you so much Eldrydd, Tyson, Julie and all the other staff for making our stay in Plas Dinam so amazing!

We were lucky enough to be hosted by Eldrydd, Tyson, Julie and the team for our wedding in Spring, and we are genuinely, incredibly overwhelmed with not just the venue, but the little helping hands here and there to really make an event come together.

The house itself is bursting with character, plenty of space to socialize with your guests and plenty of nooks to disappear to if you don’t. Each and every room is uniquely decorated but it doesn’t dilute the lived in feeling, it’s almost too easy to feel at home inside. Plas Dinam lends itself well to entertaining, the kitchen is clearly an epicenter where family and friends came for a tea or a chat, the lounges are popular for an aperitif and the pizza oven was put to use one evening (on a make-your-own basis), which turned out to be one of the best ice-breakers I could’ve hoped for. Part of the appeal for us was it’s ability to accommodate large families and friends for the wedding, and I can’t fault it.

The house is complemented by the Stables which have a history of their own, and is where we held our reception. It’s both a blank canvas and a ready-to-use space in it’s own right, and it couldn’t suit it’s surroundings any better than it does now. All the convincing we needed was a little tour of the house and the stables – they’re a perfect combination.

But all of that aside, the best part of our weekend was interacting with Eldrydd, Tyson & Julie. I can’t quite imagine how we could’ve executed a weekend like that without some pointers, tips and help from all of them. We’ll definitely be back – we just need an excuse (that isn’t another wedding).

Fantastic building; great bedrooms; excellent social areas; amazing grounds

We hired Plas Dinam for our wedding weekend in December and it was absolutely incredible! Everything you read in the reviews is true – it really is a magical place, full of grandeur but incredibly homely at the same time. We dealt with Eldrydd and Julie when booking/organising and they were very helpful, approachable and happy to answer our many questions. We used lots of suppliers recommended by Eldrydd and they were all superb. The house itself is so beautiful and the fact it was a family home until recently is really what sets it apart from other venues, it has everything you need and is very well maintained. I loved that the bedrooms all had such a different feeling but were all luxurious – no feeling like someone had drawn the short straw. The little touches like dressing gowns and lovely toiletries added to the luxury. (And wow those beds are comfy!) When we first arrived, just the two of us, it felt such a big grand house that we were a bit overwhelmed but as soon as guests started to arrive the house just came to life and had this amazing energy where everyone instantly feels at home. We had 25 guests and we used each and every space downstairs, it never felt too big but there was always somewhere to escape to if you wanted a few quiet minutes. It was the perfect setting for our wedding weekend and we loved every minute of being there and enjoying such a majestic home.

We stayed at Plas Dinam in April for our wedding weekend. Eldrydd was so helpful in advance, providing contacts for catering, flowers, photographer etc The house is fabulous with a stately home feel and yet also very easy to relax and settle into. We cooked the first night and the kitchen had everything we needed. Our family and friends loved the rooms, the table tennis and billiards and the spaces to sit and chat. Ours was a small wedding and very quickly the house felt like home to us all. We were lucky with the weather and were able to walk in the hills the day before the ceremony. On our wedding day Eldrydd's lovely team of ladies helped make everything completely stress free. The room configurations were excellent – we had the ceremony in the beautiful white room looking over the hills, had speeches in the drawing room, ate the wedding breakfast in the dining hall then used the white room for a wild Ceilidh in the evening. Everything was perfect. Our only regret – that it was all over so soon! Hopefully we will find an excuse to return for another family celebration in the future.

We held a 50th Birthday party/weekend at PD in early July…and WOW! A beautiful house with everything we wanted to cater for our 30 friends. Each bedroom is five star and the downstairs is big enough to have lots of space for a grand party yet intimate enough to find little places to escape. Never too big to be rambling, never too small to be on top of each other. There's lots to do, whether it is gloriously sunny or tipping it down…and we are all looking to book a return visit next year…and on top of everything else our host, Eldrydd, was just lovely and made us feel incredibly welcome…there is nothing not to like

We held our wedding here and Plas Dinam couldn't have been more perfect. We stayed alongside our family and friends for 4 nights, it was totally brilliant to be able to have our most important guests stay with us for a long weekend. The house itself is beautiful, every space is just so well put together. It had everything we needed and everybody was able to do their own thing but come together for group activities. The bedrooms were amazing and nobody had to feel like they were getting stuck with a second rate room! And the beds were fantastically comfy! We also had lots of compliments on the amazing bathrooms. The grounds and gardens were fabulous, and it definitely helped that we had four days of perfect sunny weather. Everybody particularly enjoyed being able to make delicious pizzas in the authentic pizza oven, and we rounded the weekend off with a campfire! It was also a bonus to be able to walk to a fabulous pub for a big group dinner. The setting for a wedding was perfect, with plenty of different spaces for the different parts of the day. Games and drinks on the lawns was super fun, and the stables were beautiful and rustic and we had the best time dancing until late. One of the reasons we picked Plas Dinam was because we would have the ability to DIY many elements of the day. Having the venue for 48 hours before the wedding enabled us to set things up exactly how we wanted things. Eldyrdd, Tyson and Julie were all totally amazing and we couldn't have pulled it off without them. They were present and available at all times without being overbearing or intrusive. Overall we are so glad we selected Plas Dinam for one of the best weekends of our lives!

What a wedding! Plas dinam as a venue, was incredible. To hire such a wonderful home and be able to have the endless flexibility to make it our own really was something special. To have a large group of our friends and family staying in one house was brilliant. The old stables and it's glass roof filled with sparkling lights was stunning. Eldrydd and Tyson were phenomenal. They honestly couldn't do enough and nothing was an issue. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this venue. The relaxed yet professional attitude, the well maintained estate, the beautiful old stables – there's nothing more we could have asked for. Thank you, thank you, thank you x

Richard and I chose Plas Dinam as the venue for our wedding on 25 March and I'm so glad we did. I loved the house and didn't want to leave! Eldrydd, Tyson and Julie were really friendly and helpful. Our weekend there has given us some beautiful photos and wonderful memories that we will treasure.

We've photographed several weddings here and every one has been excellent. Great family run Hall that always looks beautiful inside and out. Eldrydd is always a pleasure to deal with and very helpful on the day. 🙂

What a house!! This place has everything walks,sports,games history. Excellent facilities. An ideal place for people to get together celebrate and spend time together . Eldrydd was very helpful and always on hand to help if needed. Fantastic.

Incredible long weekend spent at Plas Dinam 20th May 2016, celebrating my other halves 50th birthday with wonderful friends. Everything about our stay was perfect from our Friday night dining in the very grand dining room, to our Motown live band party night on the Saturday, basking in the sunshine all day Sunday and finishing off watching the sun go down by the fire pit – we even made Pizza's, using Andy's Artisan Bakery for the dough (plus gorgeous pastries and fresh bread delivered on Saturday morning). Eldrydd and Tyson and impeccable hosts and I would recommend this stunning, relaxing and comfortable "house" to everyone. Wonderful memories to last a lifetime – THANK YOU x

Having had a fantastic time last year, staying with friends, we went back to Plas Dinam with extended family in tow. Aged between 2 and 84, we had a wonderful week. PD is so huge we could all spread out (in January) inside with teenagers, toddlers and parents and grandparents finding a space to relax or play. Having said that it was always warm and cosy, with never ending hot water and the best baths I have ever found, which I escaped to with G+T from afore mentioned toddlers. We spent lots of time walking, cycling and riding in the hills, rain or shine they are beautiful. With excellent food delivered to the door from Llanedloes, we had good fun creating feasts in the kitchen, but also had a great time creating pizzas and cooking them in the outdoor pizza oven. Thank you so much Eldrydd, Tyson and family.

We had our wedding here in the late summer of 2015 and the whole experience of being in the house was fantastic. We couldn't have had a better experience; Eldrydd was so helpful and attentive to all our needs in the run-in to the wedding and on the day itself. Eldrydd was able to give so much advice and was willing to help us arrange everything in advance so we were able to have a stress-free day. The house and gardens speak for themselves; the quality and finish throughout … is brilliant and keeps the period detail so well. The surrounding grounds allowed us to have some amazing scenery for our photos. We loved the venue as it allowed us to have close family, friends and children to stay with us over a couple of days. Each room is spacious with it's own unique character which our guests loved. Having the opportunity of 30+ guests staying with us allowed everyone to get to know each other in advance and fostered a relaxed atmosphere. We couldn't recommend the whole Plays Dinam experience highly enough! Thanks Eldrydd and Tyson for such a memorable, wonderful wedding!

Brilliant weekend for the wedding of my daughter and son-in-law on 21st November. I would thoroughly recommend the venue and also the concept of a wedding 'weekend' with close family and friends staying at the venue, you can get to know each other better than on just the one day. Thanks to Eldrydd and Tyson for 'being there' in the background and letting us loose in your beautiful house. Looking for a reason to do it all again soon!

The perfect setting for our wedding. We had 33 guests (and 3 dogs!) staying for 3 nights from Friday to Monday, it felt relaxed which is exactly what we wanted. All the bedrooms are wonderful so when allocating rooms for guests no one felt that they were relegated to a bad room and everyone felt comfortable. We kept the living room and drawing room shut off from guests until the big day which helped give it the wow factor. For us the drawing room was the perfect place for the… ceremony with beautiful big windows, stunning views and so much light. It meant even though we had a small wedding, it felt intimate not like having a few people gathered in an empty room! Also perfect for the disco later at night. Eldrydd and Tyson (owners) were flexible, supportive and helpful without fault and gave us so many ideas or tips that we hadn't thought of which made big differences (such as having a cleaner pop in on the morning of the big day to spruce up and to help guests feel more relaxed because less onus on them to clean up after themselves and more time to relax). Overall we would whole heartedly recommend this house for any event big or small. We would love to come back in the future. Ben and Hannah

Unbelievably beautiful venue. For a week we lived a dream life in the huge house. The views were stunning. Incredibly peaceful yet never dull. The owners were so nice and relaxed. I loved the house history room. Everything is authentic and well maintained. This was a once in a lifetime great experience!

Just arrived home after using Plas dinam as a venue for my birthday. One word , amazing .

We held our wedding here in August. We definitely chose the right venue for us. From my initial enquiry Eldrydd was incredibly friendly and helpful. Eldrydd has very high standards and close attention to detail which is exactly what you want from someone helping you organise a wedding, however, she is completely approachable and relaxed at the same time. The house itself is huge – I don't think I managed to see it all during the four days we were there! There were enough bed… rooms to comfortably fit our immediate family and all the bridal party and not once did we feel on top of each other. Eldrydd & Tyson have done a stunning job with the restoration of the place. Everything felt luxurious without being pretentious or stuffy. The ground are beautiful and the views from every window are stunning. I didn't leave the grounds for four days and was really sad to say goodbye! We were fortunate enough for the rain to hold off long enough to hold our ceremony outside (legally!) the front of the house. We had our reception in the old stables in the grounds – a really interesting space with beautiful old tiles, industrial beams and a concrete floor. Tyson was a tremendous help in the stables – he somehow managed to remain constantly present but never in the way while we were setting up. Nothing was too big an ask for him and the day after the wedding he got stuck right in with the cleaning up! I can't thank Eldrydd & Tyson enough for all their help and for making sure we had the best wedding day possible. Looking forward to revisiting for an anniversary!

Fabulous location and a peaceful setting. Great venue to celebrate a special couple's Golden Year! 50 years of marriage… Beautiful memories made here, with 25 or so, immediate family members. This place is a gem, and I would certainly recommend Plas Dinam to anyone, wanting a special venue to spend time with family, friends or both, to celebrate a special event! smile emoticon

We would have put more stars if possible! Our stay at Plas Dinam was the stuff of fairy tales. It was truly magical, perfect in every way. We got married in this wonderful house and 29 of us stayed for three nights. We could not have hoped for anything more: everything we had planned worked perfectly, we could do things how we wanted and everything was available for us to use and enjoy. Eldrydd, the owner, was magnificent and such a friendly, helpful face when we arrived and thought the wedding. The backdrop for a wedding is perfect, facilities are excellent and the atmosphere is magical. Thank you for everything. We would love to return for anniversaries and reunions!

Plas Dinam – the house that just keeps on giving!!! I stayed here about a year ago with 34 friends – adults and children. We had a blast! The children had a fab adventure and the parents had not too shabby a time either! PD literally wraps you up in her warm glow. The type of stay you want is up to you but trust me photos don't do it justice. You've got to get there and see for yourself. You will not be disappointed. This year other friends are there with their circle of friends. … And if you are looking for somewhere for your do! You've just found the place! Enjoy.
