Just breathtaking in every way

Huntsham court is an amazing property. We attended a wedding there and it was amazing. The grounds are beautiful. You can take a walk down to the church that sits with in the grounds. We were there from the Friday night to the Sunday morning. All the staff that were there are so lovely. The rooms are all really nice and very large.You feel like it a home from home .

Huntsham Court was our dream wedding venue, it has everything we were looking for – wood panelled walls, big open fires, fabulous furniture and decorations, and a thousand tiny details we simply loved. All our guests said how magical a place it was, and that it couldn’t have been more perfect for a cosy winter wedding with all our family and friends. The array of rooms on the ground floor meant everyone had what they needed – quite conversations could be had in one room while the dancefloor filled up in the next. And the bedrooms are just glorious – there’s so much room and flexibility, which meant everyone who wanted a room had one laid out to their needs. Our planner, Jennifer Crabb, could not have been more helpful, generous, and kind. We were looked after from the moment we booked until the moment we left the morning after the big day. As a planner she helped us through all the planning, answering last-minute questions right up until the day before. Over the weekend itself, she worked tirelessly to make sure we didn’t have to worry about a thing. The team of staff were equally excellent – friendly, warm, and helpful, with a real passion for creating the perfect wedding. A truly unforgettable weekend full of the happiest memories.

We had the most incredible experience at Huntsham! The setting is clearly absolutely stunning, but what really stands out is how practical and well thought-through it is too. They’ve genuinely covered everything. We had a winter wedding and it was perfect, fires lit, candles everywhere, warm and cosy atmosphere. It felt intimate and special. We got lucky with weather and using the grounds was amazing too. There’s just so much flexibility: indoor, outdoor, or church ceremony, great spaces inside that can be configured to your liking, in the grounds there are lawn games like croquet, space for football, and even tennis courts; it all just works.

The team were exceptional from start to finish. Everyone we dealt with, from signing the contract to final payments to on-the-day coordination, was kind, professional, and incredibly helpful. Jo, Colin, and Sade were real standouts amongst the lovely staff, though every member of staff was fantastic. They know the venue inside out and keep everything running smoothly without you ever feeling it.

It’s also genuinely all-inclusive. Décor, greenery, linen, games, setup, even a dedicated planner, it’s all handled. That made the whole process efficient and far less stressful. We also used their recommended suppliers, which made a big difference. They all knew the venue and worked seamlessly together.

Shoutout to Laura, our planner, who was fantastic start to finish. Thanks so much for making it such a wonderful weekend! It was everything we hoped for and more.

We can’t thank the Huntsham team enough for facilitating our dream wedding – the staff were extremely professional and very kind, the venue itself is incredibly beautiful and the dry hire weekend wedding offering really allowed us to tailor our wedding weekend to match our vision perfectly. Our families and so many of our guests commented on how special it was and that it was the best wedding they’d ever been to. Wow what a weekend – my friend & I shared our 50th birthday party at Huntsham Court & I think everyone agreed that it was the best party they had ever been to. My friend & I certainly had an unforgettable time, our only regret was not staying for another night & checking out on the Monday.

The house is large, beautiful & rustic – perfect for hosting over 100 guests for a weekend. The downstairs entertaining space was just right & included a cosy & comfy bar, a large dining room, a sitting room, library, along with the great hall. All of which can be transformed, within reason, to whatever you need it them to be. Plus, the bedrooms are large, comfortable & wonderfully decorated, each in their own unique way.

We used the great hall for our welcome evening & then the band and DJ played in there on the second night. We went for the ‘full frills’ approach, where the Huntsham team sorted out everything for us. From welcoming our guests, moving furniture, looking after the children & most importantly, ensuring that all we had to do was have an amazing time. They were all so friendly & helpful & made the weekend. Big shout out to them all, especially our event planner Jennifer Crabb, without whom we couldn’t have organised such a perfect party. Everything was thought about, nothing was too much trouble & the whole thing was just brilliant. The caters, Milkshed, also provided incredible food, impeccable service & were a delight to work with.

You can be as basic (by just hiring the house, which in itself would be amazing) or well looked after as you choose & we are so pleased we went with the latter, as it was the best party & weekend we could have hoped for. Thanks team, one day we hope to return, we just have to get over this party first.

Our wedding at Huntsham Court was absolutely magical. All the staff bent over backwards to help us realise our (quite out-there!) vision of a gothic banquet/disco and were all incredible. There were so many moving parts to our day and they all went off without a hitch – not only that, but the team were universally incredibly friendly and fun to talk to. They really helped to make the day even more special.

A particular thank you must go to Jennifer Crabb, who was our event planner given to us by the venue. She was our guardian angel – no request was too big and she seemed to have the biggest “little black book” of contacts and suppliers we’d ever seen. We absolutely could not have pulled our day off without her help!

All in all, we wanted to do something that felt uniquely “us”, rather than a copy-and-paste country estate wedding, and Huntsham Court not only facilitated it, but really helped us to realise it. We scoured the country for a venue but Huntsham is so unique and so flexible that there was never going to be another choice.

Being able to party all night and then have all of our friends crash on site meant it felt like the best house party we’d ever thrown. Our guests were blown away. We had an incredible weekend and cannot recommend the venue or the fantastic team enough.

What a fantastic venue. Our wedding celebration took place in November on a wet and windy weekend – Huntsham was perfect. We were warm and snug inside and had an excellent party (the sun even made a brief appearance in time for the photos). Dealing with Huntsham Court was straightforward – thank you to Clair and Laura for their quick and helpful replies. We opted for Huntsham Court to fully staff the weekend, and all the staff were great. They really went above and beyond and not only did their jobs well but were genuinely kind and helpful to both us and our guests throughout the weekend. Would definitely recommend!

Great wedding venue

We just celebrated our 25th anniversary. We got married at Huntsham Court 25 years ago and that made me look at it again. I am delighted to see that it’s still producing the same magical experiences that are nonetheless unique to each couple. I can’t even remember why we chose it, other than forever being able to say it was a Marriage made in Devon.

A very good wedding venue with beautiful grounds and accommodation. Multiple opportunities for where to have your ceremony either inside or in the gardens if weather permits. I would suggest a very cautious drive to get to the venue as the road is very narrow and you may come across agricultural and horse related traffic.

We had the BEST wedding weekend at Huntsham Court. It was perfect – we loved the flexibility to shape the weekend how we wanted, and the space to have so many of our friends and family stay on site. We had fish and chips and icecream on the Friday with garden games which was perfect, and then the big day on the Saturday! The staff were amazing – our wedding planner Jennifer was incredible and the team supporting us on the weekend were amazing. The dry hire gives you so much flexibility to have the food and drink and vibe that you want. The venue was perfect – so so glad we chose it!

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing a wedding at Huntsham Court this past Saturday, and I’m still buzzing from the experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff (I worked with Jennifer) were incredibly welcoming, professional, and genuinely passionate about making the day special for everyone involved. It’s rare to find a team that strikes the perfect balance between being helpful, discreet, and totally on the ball all day —Huntsham’s team nailed it.

The venue itself is breathtaking. Every corner offers something beautiful to work with—from the grand interiors to the surrounding countryside, it’s a dream setting for any wedding and especially as a storytelling photographer. As a wedding photographer, I couldn’t have asked for a better backdrop or a smoother experience.

BOOK YOUR WEDDING HERE!!! We celebrated our wedding weekend at Huntsham a few weeks ago and it was beyond our expectation. We loved the venue as soon as we saw it, as it allowed us to host all our guests on site, but gave us the flexibility to do what we wanted without being tied to venue packages or offers!

From start to finish the team at Huntsham were brilliant, we could visit whenever we needed to check details or plan, our planner (Laura) had great suggestions of what worked well and all the suppliers we selected from their website that were familiar with the venue already just knew exactly what to do. We had planned for an outdoor ceremony for June, but with weather not being on side, the team were so flexible to move everything indoors last minute, and the setup was amazing – we were actually happier we did the ceremony indoors than outside in the end – a silver lining to rain in June!!

The staff Laura brought in for the wedding weekend were incredible, it honestly felt like we were being hosted by family – they took every stress away from us, knew exactly what to do with every detail and made the whole thing run like clockwork.

Our guests LOVED the weekend – the venue blows people away from the moment they arrive, the rooms are all beautiful and makes everyone feel like they are getting a VIP experience. It really feels like a home – everyone was so relaxed.

Huntsham will always have a special place in our hearts – if you’re seriously considering booking it for your wedding, or other special occasion, just do it – you won’t regret it!

We got married at All Saints Church on the driveway of Huntsham Court, and then had all our celebrations at Huntsham Court in March 2025.

It was the most incredible weekend, in one of the most stunning venues. Our guests, like us, were blown away by the grand building and the surrounding views. Friday night was a casual evening for guests to get to know each other, have a drink and dinner from a food van – then Saturday was the main event!

The way Huntsham Court is run is so relaxed for such a historic location – a total dry hire, which means you organise everything yourself. That also means no corkage fees, which enabled us to stay within budget whilst offering an open bar for the full weekend.

We were also allocated a freelance wedding coordinator (Laura) by the management of the building, who was able to help us understand how everything works, hire staff, organise bedroom setups, gather insurances from vendors etc. – all within the original fee. We additionally chose to pay Laura to be there on the wedding day, which was a great decision. The whole day went seamlessly with not a single hiccup (as far as us and our guests know!)… it was such a relief to enjoy our day and not have to manage anything.

We can’t recommend Huntsham Court enough!

A group of us Celebrants spent a fabulous 4 days at Huntsham at the beginning of March for our annual CPD business development retreat. What a stunning place Huntsham is. The rooms were beautiful, the staff were so friendly and helpful. In fact it was so lovely we’ve already booked for next year!

Our charity (Children’s Hospice South West) has been lucky enough to secure Huntsham Court as a venue to host our charity events over the past few years. Both the house and the grounds are breath-taking and guests are always blown away by Huntsham Court. We always use the recommended caterers, Devon Pantry, who never disappoint by providing us with delicious food year on year. We can’t wait to be back next year! Words cannot describe how much we loved our wedding weekend. Our guests all said it was the best wedding that they have ever attended. It was perfect from start to finish. We started with a pizza and Prosecco party on the Friday night, a 5k wedding run Saturday morning followed by the traditional wedding day (with a church blessing at All Saints), finally finishing with a Sunday brunch. The venue is incredible and everyone was blown away by Huntsham Court. We didn’t need many decorations as it is so perfectly decorated by the owners with a huge Christmas tree as a perfect December touch. Everyone loved their bedrooms which are all so uniquely incredible (I wish I could spend a night each one!) From the moment we reached out to Huntsham in January, we were met with professionalism and excellence. Our wedding planner, Laura (Kept Weddings) was unbelievable – nothing was soo much trouble and everything ran seamlessly on the day bringing our exact vision to life. My mum would like to say a special thank you to Colin who saved the day with the cake! All the staff were also amazing and helped in every way possible. Each room is beyond beautiful – a candlelit dinner in the yellow room and library (my favourite room), dancing till the early hours in the great hall and wandering the grounds (even on a freezing day in December). Don’t even hesitate to book Huntsham – you could never be disappointed. We wish we could do it all over again (and again and again…). Thank you so so so much again. In a year of great uncertainty and stress for our family ended with the best memories we could ever ask for and that is down to everyone at Huntsham Court.

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue than Huntsham Court for our wedding day. We were initially drawn to Huntsham Court due to the flexibility around suppliers, the no-corkage fee, and it’s dog friendly! And when we went to view the venue we fell in love with it. Having a weekend wedding was perfect for us, and the fact the venue has so many bedrooms meant most of our guests stayed on site, which made it so convenient for our guests and allowed us to spend quality time with friends and family before, during and after the wedding without feeling rushed. We didn’t need many decorations as the house is absolutely stunning. It’s beautiful and grand, but at the same time warm, welcoming and cozy. Such an amazing atmosphere. Everything is super flexible (food, drinks, room layout, suppliers, dog friendly) which helped make it such a personal and unique day for us. The venue’s wedding co-ordinator (Jenny) was amazing – she handled every aspect of the day flawlessly so we could relax and enjoy the day as we knew we were in good hands. Lots of the guests commented that it was the best wedding venue they’ve been to (and we agree!). Thank you Huntsham Court for an unforgettable and magical day!

I visit Huntsham Court regularly as a recommended wedding photographer there and it is by far one of the best venues I work at in the country. The house itself is immaculate with a variety of possible ceremony locations, the gardens are immaculately kept and the staff are welcoming, friendly and extremely professional. In over ten years shooting here I have never known a couple not be absolutely delighted with how the day went. This venue strikes the perfect balance between grand, impressive, and relaxed. Would recommend anyone considering a viewing to get a date booked in!

What an amazing venue. Stayed here for a family wedding and the house and grounds are just perfect. The staff and team running the estate are fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble, and everything sorted and in place with care and precision.

My partner and I spent months researching and viewing wedding venues in the south west that were an exclusive use venue for a weekend wedding. With many venues not quite having either enough bedrooms or character when we finally found Huntsham Court it completely blew us away and we knew we had to secure our date quick!

Once we had secured our date Huntsham provided us with all the information we needed to start planning our wedding. We were able to visit the venue as much as we liked which really helped us visualise how we could have the venue set up for our event.

One of the biggest selling points for us (apart from the stunning grounds, impressive state rooms and luxury bedrooms!) was the flexibility you have at Huntsham. We were able to bring in the suppliers we wanted, from our florist, photographer, bar hire and caterers. This helped us make our wedding one of a kind and not a ‘rinse and repeat’ wedding where you have to use in-house suppliers like many other venues we visited.

Once we met our wedding planner Jenny with 6 months before the day the ball really got rolling with all the finer details and planning the logistics of the weekend. Jenny thought of everything, giving us extra ideas and things we hadn’t even considered to make sure it was an unforgettable weekend for us and our guests.

The staff at Huntsham were also fantastic, they were incredibly friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Again the flexibility of being able to use Huntsham staff as much or as little as you like throughout your event was a great help to us.

We mean it when we say, it was the BEST weekend of our lives and it’s all thanks to the incredible venue, staff and suppliers. Our guests throughout the weekend were blown away constantly commenting it was the best wedding they’d ever been to. We couldn’t recommend Huntsham Court enough for a wedding or event of any kind, it’s just bittersweet we may never be able to visit this stunning venue again.

Just wow! We wanted a place to have the wedding our daughter and son in law wanted….relaxed chilled and our own input. Huntsham court was all that and more! Laura our wedding planner was amazing and so helpful and the staff we hired exceeded our expectations! Thank you for making our stay relaxed and memorable! Highly recommend

We held our wedding in Huntsham in late March – it was superb from our first contact with the team until we had to wrap up and head home.

Everyone was wonderfully accommodating and does everything they can to help as much as possible. This made the already delightful house and setting even more sublime for all of our guests. We cannot overstate how beautiful the house is – the rooms are tastefully decorated in keeping with the period of the house, whilst remaining clean and up to date. A tricky balancing act, but one executed precisely in Huntsham.

The fact that they allow you to do your own thing and are totally flexible allowed us to indulge in exactly what we wanted. We had always hoped to pick our own selection of wine and drinks but we wouldn’t have been able to at a lot of venues- thankfully Huntsham is not “a lot of venues” and was spot on. I was irritatingly insistent on having a selection of 4 cask ales and Huntsham were only too happy for me to set up my own festival racking in the bar for it.

It was the most brilliant day for my wife and I and this was in no small part thanks to the brilliance of Huntsham. A special mention goes to Claire and Natalie for all of their help.

Just came back from attending the wedding of the decade at Huntsham Court. The house was like something out of a movie. Had an incredible stay at this Victorian manor house. The rooms hold so much character. Sharing some pics and videos of this amazing place.

We had pleasure to work at Huntsham Court few times( we are wedding photographers) and we absolutely love it. From guests and couples point of view- great to have huge space with so many rooms available exclusively for 3 days. We love weddings which are more than just one day, we like to stay till the end at that is possible at Huntsham. We are able to meet couple and some guests at night before celebrations. Light in the rooms where everyone is getting ready is fantastic too. So much space! Grounds have so much to offer Superb, well looked after venue. We highly recommend it. My son and partner got married at Huntsham Court four weeks ago and it was out of this world! Everything from the beautiful surroundings and opulent furnishings (made even more spectacular with the Christmas tree and decorations) to the incredible attention to detail on all levels from the fabulous staff and caterers. We had our wedding at Huntsham in early August 2023. The generous and knowledgeable approach of everyone at Huntsham was amazing (and very helpful). When we were looking at the venue, Clair and Jen were on hand to answer all of our questions. When plans changed last minute due to the weather, it wasn’t stressful as Laura Dalton and the team had it in hand. We held our wedding reception at Huntsham Court, and they perfectly accommodated all 80 of us. The venue was beautiful, and the staff worked around everyone’s needs. Highly Recommend. Wonderful venue and people.

We were lucky enough to visit and stay at the enchanting Huntsham Court. We attended a wedding at the All Saints Church and the reception and residence was at the Court itself. An amazing self contained wedding venue with Tudor gothic architecture and remarkable gardens. The catering at Huntsham was outstanding, with a great selection of wine and signycoctaiks for the happy couple. The larder was also packed with goodies for the guests. ‘Tilly’ was the name of the room we stayed in, it was small but comfortable with lots of beautiful botanical art and a lovely spacious shower room next door. The master bedroom was spectacular as was the decor and artworks throughout the house. Would definitely recommend for couples wanting to tie the knot somewhere secluded and serene.

We got married at Huntsham in March this year and it was absolutely perfect – the venue itself is stunning and the staff were absolutely wonderful, several of our guests commented on how attentive the staff were and how smoothly everything ran. A gorgeous venue with beautiful grounds and interior that will have the wow factor for any guests you invite. The team at Huntsham do a fantastic job and have the perfect skilful combination of being helpful and considerate but you still feel like you have your own gothic manor house for the weekend.

Absolutely stunning venue to have a wedding. Unlike other venues, you build your day to be perfect by controlling every element of the day from the caterers, entertainment, number of guests and even what is stocked at the bar! The whole team were excellent from start to finish with all the help planning the day. On the day all staff members were very helpful and friendly. You are provided with a personal wedding planner who is there every step of the way to ensure your day runs as smoothly as possible – Laura was amazing! We will certainly hope to return to this amazing venue again in the future.

If you’re looking for a ‘DIY’ venue where you can control literally every element of your ceremony, and where you have the joy of having around 80 of your family and friends staying on site with no curfew and a bar that you can stock yourself, it couldn’t be more perfect.

The team there and the staff they recruit to support you are also exceptional, and make what could otherwise be quite a daunting task completely manageable. They are absolute pros.

Incredible. We had our wedding at Huntsham Court and I could not fault the venue and the team of staff there from start to finish. Our guests all had an amazing time.

The bedrooms are the nicest of anywhere I’ve ever stayed – grand, well equipped, cosy and with plenty of character. The main event rooms are absolutely perfect – we had an amazing ceremony in the great hall which also became a brilliant dance floor later on. The bar and other rooms were all just as stunning. The grounds were great for a drinks reception and a quiet walk.

The staff were all so helpful too. Booking and planning were all easy. Big shout out to Clare who was incredibly helpful and patient with our three attempts at a wedding through Covid. The staff on the night were also delightful.

I cannot recommend Huntsham Court highly enough for any event.

I’ve been very fortunate to be booked to capture weddings at the imitable Huntsham Court multiple times. The team are so welcoming, personable and devoted to each couple, as well as the suppliers that are contracted. They are a talented team, bringing professionalism and creativity to ensure each vision is brought to life! It’s always a pleasure to work at Huntsham, and I can’t wait to visit again soon.

Wow, wow, wow, what an amazing venue to see in the New Year!! We had THE BEST party ever and were looked after amazingly well by the caterers recommended by the team at Huntsham Court. Everyone in our party across all ages, from 6months to 75 years had the best time. Even though Huntsham Court is magnificently huge, it still feels lovely and homely. The only bad thing was having to leave!! We had the most perfect house party in the ultimate party house!! Thank you to everyone at Huntsham Court – you made everything seem so effortless.

We had a wonderful time at Huntsham, such an idyllic place. Everyone was so welcoming and our rooms were clean, tidy and well appointed. We really appreciated all the hard work in making our stay so special and we hope to be back again before long.

We had the best New Year weekend at Huntsham. It’s the perfect place for a party. I would highly recommend. The setting is stunning, the rooms fabulous and when we could finally drag ourselves away from the comfortable beds, Colin was ready to serve us a delicious breakfast. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming.

I attended a New Year’s Eve party there on 31 December 2021. One of the best NYE’s parties I have ever been to. Incredible space to eat, drink and dance with an amazing ambiance. 100% recommend.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Huntsham. Our room was perfect, from the super large bed to the luxurious bath and quirky but tasteful decorations and paintings. Seamless arrival, and enjoyable grounds for our dog.

We celebrated our wedding at Huntsham Court in October and absolutely loved it!

Everything ran so smoothly, the communication between us and the Huntsham staff has been so great throughout all the planning and the weekend itself. We loved being able to have all of our loved ones stay at the venue, and all of our guest really enjoyed the beautiful surroundings.

We want to say a huge thank you to all the staff at Huntsham Court who were such a big part of making our day so special.

Although November, Huntsham Court grounds has some lovely colour in the trees. The house is lovely, buit in 1896 with many features. Loved staying here .food very good ….

We had our wedding here in July 2019, and I cannot rate the venue and the people highly enough. We were able to make the weekend exactly what we wanted, and Jenny and the team helped us so much to tailor everything and made us feel calm and in control in what could have been a very stressful process. We struggled to find anywhere else we could have free reign, was so beautiful, and all our guests stay on site which was a key factor in making the weekend what it was. Cannot recommend highly enough

We went whilst Huntsham Court are running as a pop up hotel and restaurant. We went for dinner, which Milkshed Catering were running. It was a fantastic setting in a beautiful building and the food was amazing!!!

We really really enjoyed our evening and Milkshed catered for my wife’s allergies brilliantly (often everyone was given a free from version of each course and simply didn’t even notice).

All in all it is a lovely place for an event or in this case a lovely meal.

My son recently married his new husband at Huntsham. They had previously booked it for April which they then postponed until September. After originally planning the wedding for 75 people they eventually only had 28 due to government restrictions. They were very undecided about whether a wedding in a venue of this size would work.They had no reason to worry at all, if anything it made it more special having an intimate wedding. Everything about the wedding was perfect, the se tting for Huntsham is beautiful and tranquil. The gardens were full of colour but I can imagine the grounds are beautiful whatever the season. The house is amazing, every room is impeccably decorated and furnished. The staff were fantastic and couldn’t do enough for us. Charlotte, Gary, Rob and Colin were invaluable. They had the ceremony in Great Hall which was beautiful and the wedding breakfast in the Yellow room. The library is definitely my favourite with masses of books and big squashy sofas. We have all decided that we wouldn’t have changed one thing about the wedding as it was so perfect. If anyone is undecided about a smaller wedding at Huntsham, think again. Thank you Huntsham for the beautiful memories you helped us make. The boys are now trying to think up an excuse for another celebration at a Huntsham x Jane

I was a guest at a house party for about 90 people and I arrived with a little trepidation as to what I would find – I had no cause for concern. The House itself was my image of a fine country dwelling in style of Bertie Wooster at Brinkley Court – superb, happy hospitality and wonderful food to add to the mix. The rooms varied from the impressive to greatly impressive with the period character to match. Would I go again – you bet

Had our dream winter wedding in Huntsham Court in December. Surrounded by our best friends and loved ones, it could not have been more perfect. Each room is unique and splendid, the bedrooms are all stunning, the fact that you can have it exclusively and make it your own, makes it that much more special. The staff were on point, kind and efficient. Wish we could do it all again! Thank you for creating such a magical place. We definitely want to come back!

A first class venue for special occasions or large corporate events. We hosted a 70 person, week long event here and were super impressed. The manor is well maintained and extremely well furnished. The staff are well trained and very customer centric. We received great service. The grounds surrounding the manner are equally well cared for and can be used for many different purposes.

Brilliant location for our daughters wedding. Lovely building and 1st class staff who nothing was to much trouble. Lovely bedrooms and we had a great weekend.

Our wedding weekend at Huntsham in June 2017 was absolutely perfect, from start to finish! We couldn't have asked for a better planner than Petra to help make our weekend exactly the way we hoped. She was always contactable, nothing was too much trouble, and she is such a lovely person, that we always felt at ease with her. During the weekend itself, all the staff were fantastic. They were friendly with our guests, but professional, and everything was set up and run exactly as we had asked. Nothing went wrong all weekend (or we at least did not hear about it/have to deal with it ourselves!) and we are still being told by our guests even now, that it was the best wedding they've ever been to! Being able to accommodate so many guests at the venue was a huge bonus, as it was like a mini holiday for them, and they could relax all weekend with all the celebrations happening in one place. All in all, a stunning venue, with lots of freedom to make the weekend your own, and with an incredible team of staff who go out of their way to make it perfect for you. We're trying to think of more excuses for a celebration here! Thank you to the whole team who helped to make our wedding weekend so special!

Located in what was once an idyllic village in the Devonshire countryside, only to ruin it. Residents in Huntsham can expect frequent disturbance at all hours! Such as this evening with a concert of horrendously out of key bugles being played! What a respectful buisness.

Excellent venue, that we, as The Iron Boot Scrapers, perform at, as the dance band, or even the 'serenading' band, regularly. It has that old world charm, having been a late Victorian manor, and is in great condition, with all the touches you expect from such a vintage place. Also the grounds are well maintained. We look forward to returning on a regular basis

The PERFECT wedding venue – we could not have hoped to work with more wonderful people at Huntsham or for a better weekend. The freedom and flexibility to do what we wanted was ideal, but we never felt overwhelmed or abandoned. There was always someone to answer an email and give advice to help make the planning as easy as possible. The whole weekend was magical from start to finish, all our guests were blown away by their rooms and the beauty of the house, and the wedding day itself went off without a hitch. Huntsham court made our fairytale wedding come true…. The house was what I dreamed of as a child and gavin and I were so lucky to have it. Simply PERFECT ! Dan and I were married at All Church Saints – the gorgeous church at the bottom of the drive – by Rev Kev – who is simply fab, 10 Dec 2016. We arrived at Huntsham Court Friday lunchtime and didn't leave for 48 hours! We had a pre- wedding Christmas party the Friday night and Saturday was the big day. Everything went without a single hitch, and even if there was a hitch, the HC Team didn't let us know! We could completely relax and didn't need to worry about a single thing. The team know exactly what they are doing – it is a very very well oiled machine but with the added bonus of a personal touch and great communication. The interior design is awesome – it is beautifully decorated but not stuffy – everyone felt very comfortable the entire weekend. We really can't thank Chris and Damian enough for offering HC as a venue (little things like naming the guest rooms after their pets is so lovely!) thank you to the team, and a special big thank you to Deby who was just so helpful, thoughtful, creative, supportive and fun throughout the entire planning process right through to the big day. We would love to do it all again – it was literally the best weekend EVER!!! I'm inspired by another reviewer who said they came back for an anniversary celebration!! If anyone is in doubt about booking Huntsham Court, we can sincerely recommend it! And we would be more than happy to give advice to anyone who would like to understand more about how it works , or about any of the brilliant suppliers we used . Xxx

We run a fun Events company and were hired in to provide rodeo bull entertainment for a wedding at the Huntsham Court Country House. The Huntsman Court Country House is just perfect for the big family get together, like a wedding. Right next to the parish church with a very friendly vicar. The amenities are great, set in a country house, not spoiled by massive my, but comfortable.

Attended my cousins wedding last December, it was the most amazing venue! Staff were so friendly, house was spotlessly clean and very very comfy. Was a truly magical wedding. We still talk about it frequently as my son who was 5 at the time also had the best time. Certainly an impressive relaxing venue for any occasion!

We couldn't have asked for a better place to have our wedding. The staff were amazing, no job too small and they thought of everything. Truly a perfect weekend at a perfect venue. Look forward to finding another excuse to rent Huntsham for the weekend again!

This place is positively magical! Its uniqueness lies within its authentic artifacts and incredible charm along with its relaxed and homely feel. I loved the whole weekend, our friends wedding was amazing, the little church, the staff, truly amazing experience. It's highly recommended !! I feel like moving in there 🙂

Loved every minute of our three day stay here to celebrate our son's marriage (Jeremy Basile to Kate Moore). The staff were super friendly and helpful, accommodation was magnificent and the grounds and rooms created an amazing ambiance for a wedding. Our friends and family from both England and Australia (as well as a number of other countries) enjoyed themselves thoroughly. Well done Huntsham!

My daughter and son-in-law booked Huntsham for their wedding at the weekend and from the minute we arrived lunchtime on Friday, till we left Sunday afternoon we and the other 118 guests have had an absolute blast. Huntsham works like a well oiled machine with lovely staff who come and go as required, seamlessly setting and re-setting the beautiful reception rooms for each activity – in our case from Friday evening meal in the Tapestry Diamond Room followed by a ceilidh in the Great Hall, the wedding itself at the gazebo in the stunning grounds followed by canapes outside and the wedding breakfast in the Yellow Room and Library ensuite on the Saturday and Sunday lunch. All the rooms are tastefully furnished with hand picked period furniture, lush fabrics, beautiful wallcoverings and objet. Every possible need is catered for in a totally relaxed way. You really feel the house is your home for the weekend and by the end of it you don't want to leave. I cannot imagine a better wedding venue. Special thanks to Debbie, Colin and Jane for helping make my daughter's wedding weekend so special for us all.
