Stretton House dating back to the 17th century is an imposing Derbyshire country residence, with links to the building of the local railways it is steeped in history. The private gravel driveway leads to an impressive residence surrounded by its own grounds. Stretton House provides the ideal setting for a large family gathering comfortably accommodating 32 people for holiday home accomodation. There is a formal dining room seating 32 guests and alternatively the conservatory which comfortably seats 32 at a single table. Alfresco dining also offers seating for the whole party on the terrace located on the west lawn complete with bbq. Privacy and tranquility can be enjoyed by all members of the family with croquet on the lawn, Pimms on the lake terrace and activities for the children.
Inside Stretton House we offer a formal lounge and library with open fires, a bar room, movie room with projector, kids art room (including DVD and book library) as well as a games room suitable for teenagers and boys. With all this to offer Stretton House offers an ideal large holiday home retreat for the whole family.
The flexibility of Stretton House also offers the opportunity of holding corporate events utilising the dining room as a meeting room with presentation facilities.
