Croxton Lodge is part of the Croxton Park Estate, in Leicestershire. The lodge shares a courtyard with another holiday house, the Curlew’s Nest. Each of the properties has 4 bedrooms, sleeping up to 16 guests.
Croxton Lodge is arranged as an upside-down house, and has the bedrooms on the ground floor. Each of the four bedrooms have an en-suite, two of the bedrooms are twins, and have a roll-top bath.
Further on from the bedrooms, there is a comfortable sitting room, and a games room with a snooker table. There’s a further, separate shower room and loo, on the ground floor.
Upstairs, there’s a large sitting room, with a dining table and a bar, for any cocktail fantasists. There’s a small, practical kitchen.
The Curlew’s Nest has a more traditional layout, with the bedrooms (all en-suite) on the first floor,

House Facts
Croxton Park Estate was originally an Abbey from the 12th century and then later, the early Dukes of Rutland used the estate to enjoy country sports, such as shooting and fishing. Both Croxton Lodge and Curlews Nest have been renovated by the current Duchess of Rutland.
