Dorset Court is a captivating mid-19th century Gothic mansion. Once a rectory, the property offers stunning valley views and overlooks rolling woods and pastures.

Available for exclusive use self-catering, the main house can accommodate up to 38 guests.
It’s the perfect location for conferences, training courses, celebrations, or large gatherings with friends and family.

The main house has 13 bedrooms, including a stylish function room, a relaxing sitting room, a well-stocked library and large dining room. Rooms have period furnishings and wonderful views over the surrounding valley.

Just outside the house is a magnificent 13m x 7m assembly/concert hall with exceptional acoustics and a grand piano. This versatile space can be rented separately and is ideal for family gatherings or musical performances.

Dorset Court is one of a very few houses designed by Richard Cromwell Carpenter, the great hope of early Victorian Gothic architecture who died in his early forties in 1855. Inspired by his exact contemporary Augustus Pugin, the prophet of the Gothic Revival in England.
