There are three dining areas within the house – one breakfast table seating 14, the main dining area seating 14, plus the 14-seater outdoor dining area, situated under the imposing overhanging roof section – the place for a truly memorable celebration.
Outdoors, guests can’t help but be impressed by the star of the show – the private heated lakeside swimming pool. Surrounding the pool, you’ll find a spacious hot tub, alfresco games zone, sunbathing lawns and an extensive fire pit place.
The more adventurous can take to the river and try out paddle boarding, fly fishing or rowing. On land, why not venture out and explore the beautiful walking routes and cycle tracks that surround the house?
Not enough? Not a problem – you can also book and enjoy extensive activities at nearby Avington Park including archery, wine tasting, wild swimming and clay pigeon shooting. Boom, quite literally.

Location
Stillwaters House is located just off the M3, on the outskirts of Winchester. Guests driving from London can reach the property in around 90 mins, or if they prefer, catch a train from Waterloo, followed by a taxi, and arrive at the house in under two hours.
Things to do
The coast is close, with Southampton and Portsmouth both nearby for shopping and sights, including the Historic Dockyard. Guests with a taste for adventure could try catching the hovercraft from Portsmouth harbour to the Isle of Wight, for more beaches, boats and bonhomie!
Weddings
The house is not currently licensed for weddings but will be from 2024.
