Set in 10 acres of private grounds, Glansevin was built during the Napoleonic war as a family home, it is now into its 3rd century as a residence. From the 16th century, until after World War II, the house was the seat of one of the oldest surviving families in Wales. Both lines of the family are of Celtic and royal origin, with connections from Edward I and Tendwr Mawr (Tudor the Great). The oldest part of the house – bedroom 10 and the sitting room below it – was known as the Tudor House.

Glansevin Mansion is a wonderful, privately-owned Georgian mansion set in spacious, secluded gardens. It has a large sitting room with an open fire & bar area, a dining room big enough to seat up to 75 guests and an indoor games room with a pool table,
