Very good house that effortlessly takes 20 people. Only downside is that the wifi could do with some repeaters and it's a bit of a drive to get anywhere. The barn was brilliant to keep the kids happy

This is the second time i have Hired the property and it did not fail to satisfy, Majestic Rooms with excellent quality Linen, and heating on so warm on arrival. The House is very well appointed / catered for large groups of people, The Kitchen is large enough to get most folks in while cooking so maintaining the social atmosphere of the weekend. Great location of you like walking as it is rural and has lots to explore. Will definitely be going back at some point in the future.

Extremely well presented period house full of charm and character. Have no fear there are copious amounts of modern touches (power showers, ice machines, underfloor heating etc.).

Its origins date back to medieval times, but the house was enlarged and completely remodeled in the 1760s. Workmanship was to exceptionally high standards for the time, including fine paneling to many of the rooms. The present owners who undertook a sympathetic restoration.
