Balinakill country house is a comfortable Victorian manor on the west side of the Kintyre Peninsula, in Argyll. It has been carefully restored to its full Scottish glory by its owners, and is a lovely house for a party of friends or family, or a wedding.
Balinakill has thirteen bedrooms, sleeping up to 30 guests in various configurations. Twelve of the bedrooms are ensuite, and there are seven double beds and five king-size beds – two of the kings can be made into twin beds. Two of the bedrooms have sofa beds within, and work very well as rooms for young families. The thirteenth room doubles as the children’s play room, and has a small double bed.
Downstairs, there’s plenty of space for everyone. There are three reception rooms, to suit the time of day and your mood – the first is a gorgeously atmospheric oak-panelled drawing room,

We booked our wedding at Balinakill expecting to have 140 people there in May 2020, however, with the crazy recent events we had to wait another year and reduce the numbers to 14. Throughout all of the stress Ann and everyone at Balinakill were so kind and willing to help with any changes we needed to make and in the end we had an incredible weekend. The house itself is beautiful, each room has its own little bit of charm. The gardens are just lovely to relax in, especially when we we were feeling a little worse for wear the next day! Uta the housekeeper was amazing, thanks so much for everything Uta! We will definitely be coming back seeing as we didn’t get round to trying the hot tub! I would definitely recommend Balinakill for any large group get together or event and their list of suppliers was so helpful, thanks!

Our extended multigenerational family found Balinakill perfect for our get together. The property is clean, well maintained and furnished, with plenty of living/entertainment space and generous bedrooms for all 24 members of our group. Balinakill is very comfortable and Ann and the team have paid attention to every detail - we particularly liked the beautiful ... fresh flower arrangements in every room. The gardens are lovely. With a snooker table/table tennis/games/bluetooth speakers the younger generation were happy and we all enjoyed the hot tub and Sky TV/Sports. Nearby there are some fantastic beaches, walks and places to eat, such as the Skipness Seafood Cabin and The Boat House on Gigha. We really enjoyed our week here and would thoroughly recommend Balinakill.
