Little Cheriton House is a beautiful Georgian manor in Somerset. It is carefully designed for small house parties with friends and family. The property has seven beautifully decorated bedrooms that can sleep up to 16 people. Two pull-out beds in the attic room and an extra single bed mean it can hold up to 18 people in total.

The house’s rooms are big and well-designed, perfect for both formal and informal events. The kitchen is big and open, and the drawing room, with its open fire, is a great place to relax at night.

The property is almost two acres, and the lawns are great for games and other outdoor fun. The gardens have beautiful views of the valley and sea cliffs, providing many places for people to relax and have fun outside.

Location and Things to Do

Situated in the heart of the Midlands, Little Cheriton House is tucked away at the end of a peaceful country lane, just beyond the village of North Cheriton. The market town of Wincanton is only a 10-minute drive away, while the train station at Templecombe (a short 5-minute taxi ride) offers easy access for guests travelling from London or further afield. The surrounding area boasts a number of charming Somerset villages, many offering delightful circular walks that start and end at local pubs.

Bruton, a town renowned for its food scene, is just 15 minutes away, with attractions like ‘The Newt’ country estate, open to day visitors for its gardens and restaurants. For a day out, Longleat is a 40-minute drive, or closer still, you can explore the Fleet Air Arm Museum or the Haynes Motor Museum. The iconic town of Glastonbury is just over half an hour away.
