The early Victorian manor Cheltenham House was built in 1840 and has been carefully remodelled for one family. It has 12 well-planned bedrooms that can accommodate up to 24 guests and 10 well-appointed bathrooms. The first floor has seven bedrooms, one of which has a king-size bed and six zip-link beds that can be made into doubles or singles. There are three en-suites and shared bathrooms to give you the most options.
On the second floor, there are four zip-link beds, each with its own bathroom. There is also a king-size bedroom on the ground floor with a bathroom and shower room next to it for people who don’t want to climb the stairs. The ground floor has become a great place to have fun and relax. There is a bright sunroom, a modern kitchen, and a large dining table that can seat 24 people.
There are a lot of fun things to do on the property, like playing pool and table football in the games room, relaxing in the morning room, or playing the baby grand piano in the living room. You have more options for entertainment with a dedicated movie theatre room. You can also relax and have fun outside in the five acres of gardens, which include a hot tub and a wildflower meadow.
A lot of thought has gone into keeping the property in a Victorian style while also being comfortable in a modern way.
Cheltenham House is located in the heart of the Cotswolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, just 4 miles from Cheltenham and 10 miles from Gloucester. The nearest mainline train station is in Cheltenham, and the property is easily accessible from junction 10 of the M5. Cheltenham, a historic spa town, is famous for its Regency architecture, lively town centre, and the Cheltenham Racecourse, which offers events, family days, and evening parties.
The area offers a wealth of activities, including parks, theatres, festivals, the Gloucester Warwick Steam Railway, and Adam Henson’s Cotswold Farm Park. The surrounding countryside is perfect for walking and cycling, with many charming Cotswold villages to explore, and there are plenty of great local pubs for a post-adventure pint.

“I may break my own rules, here, and choose two things I love about this house. The location – wild, rugged, but close to pubs – and the sun room. Nothing nicer than a pot of tea and a plate of crumpets, in a sun room, on a wild and windy afternoon.”
