House Facts

Oxon Hoath was originally built in the 1400's by Sir John Culpepper, a Knight of King Henry V, as a royal park for the Kingdom's oxen and deer. Over the centuries, the Oxon Hoath Estate has been the ancestral family home to eleven Knights of the Realm, many of whom enhanced both the house and the grounds in a variety of classical architectural styles.

A wonderful venue for a tai chi retreat. The room was large and overlooked the drive. We had the widows open all night and to wake up to the dawn chorus was amazing. The weather was kind to us, warm and beautiful sunshine meant we could practise outside. The food is tasty and you will never ...

Attended an all wonderful Iyengar Yoga retreat here. I knew the yoga was going to be great but I was so impressed with the whole place. Lovely people working there making it all happen, excellent food and very beautiful house and gardens. It's grand!
