Oxon Hoath
About Oxon Hoath
Oxon Hoath is a very private house nestled into its own secluded country estate. It’s a splendid place for all types of activities and over the past 20 years has hosted nearly 1,500 exclusive events.
If your event is unavoidably cancelled due to restrictions imposed by Government in response to the COVID-19 pandemic all monies paid by you to Oxon Hoath will be refunded or transferred to another suitable date, less an administration fee of £150 including VAT. Oxon Hoath is a happy, healthy and safe environment. We have just received 5 star status from the Environmental Health Officer who carried out a full COVID safety inspection, and Public Health England have commended our practices commenting that we are "..clearly providing a safe and compliant environment".
Parties, weddings, corporate away-days, team-building, training courses and conferences – the Oxon Hoath team is experienced at running them all – tailor-made to suit your style and budget.
The accommodation at Oxon Hoath is generous – the house sleeps up to 55 in 28 bedrooms. The reception rooms are spacious and impressive and include a large, flexible ‘Conference’ room (complete with original Georgian covings and fantastic natural light); a beautifully airy studio with polished oak flooring, and a quintessentially English wood-panelled library complete with Chesterfields and roaring log fire.
This lovely big house sits in 73 acres of park land, reached down a quarter-mile carriage drive. The park includes exotic trees and romantic gardens with sweeping lawns. It also has deep woodland with hidden dells, and a sculptured lake (which echoes the naturalistic style of Capability Brown).
There are beautiful views from most bedrooms, over the rolling Weald of Kent.
Edmund’s Choice of Extraordinary Feature
“Oxon Hoath’s stand-out feature for me has to be its walled kitchen garden – one of the largest original walled-gardens in the South East. The garden has been under a restoration project for over five years, and the vegetables, flowers and fruit grown within its walls are organic. The produce is used by the kitchens at Oxon Hoath, and guests can also buy surplus fruit and vegetables to take home.”

Reviews
We had our wedding at the glorious Oxon Hoath back in June 2018 and genuinely couldn’t have asked for a more dreamy venue to host our vibrant and rather quirky wedding weekend. Tina couldn’t have been more accommodating when we had some unusual ideas to make the day unique and special. We had constant comments from our friends and family about what a stunning place it is and how lucky we were to have found it. Spacious enough to home our bridal party and some extras, but intimate enough that we had the whole place to ourselves. Simply stunning gardens and view over countryside Kent, Tina grows a lot of fruit, veg and herbs too so our catering was done in house with amazing fresh and season ingredients. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Hoping to come back to renew our vows one day!
We have had a few office Xmas parties at Oxon Hoath and have had the best time ever. Tina and her team attend to all the organisation and make our stay very comfortable. When we arrive they have the house decorated with the most beautiful Xmas trees and floral displays. The fire is alight and it feels so welcoming. We go for country walks to the pub and when we got stuck one year Tina came to the rescue- nothing is too much hassle for the OH team. We will be coming back. We love, love, love Oxon Hoath.
What is there to say other than Oxonhoath is a magical place! Having run an annual weekend party there for friends and family since 2011, the management team and onsite management are simply brilliant and help make planning any event, a stress free project. The house and grounds are charming with a beautiful paneled library, which looks out over the gorgeous Kent countryside, being the jewel in the crown. The bedrooms are very comfortable (great linen!), there are excellent menus and catering options and superb healthy breakfasts and the staff are always warm and extremely accommodating. We'll be back for many years to come, as long as it's available!
I can’t tell you how much we love this beautiful house. The surroundings are jaw-dropping. Oxon Hoath is the perfect nurturing environment for team building. I wish we could be there every week!
I’ve been using Oxon Hoath for over 10 years, running week-long, residential, leadership courses. A wonderful venue and the team are amazing!
