Hallsannery House is a beautiful late Georgian/ early Victorian listed manor house set in five acres of parkland, woods and gardens and is a fantastic base for exploring the delights of unspoilt North Devon.

The Estate comfortably accommodates up to 38 guests with the addition of the Coach House located behind the main house.

The house has 11 bedrooms to sleep up to 22 guests (plus 4 – 6 children), all with en-suites and most with stunning views of the countryside. One bedroom is on the ground floor with its own wet room, if you’d prefer to avoid the stairs. 

On the ground floor, there are three bright and spacious reception rooms, including two sitting rooms housing plush sofas, smart TVs, a log burner and games plus a library complete with a pool table and toys if needed.

House Facts

Hallsannery House was reputedly built in the 1830s by TJ Harding, a merchant from Liverpool who made his money shipping tea and other goods to the East and America. He commissioned a large house 'on the outskirts of Bideford' with no limit on the budget!
