Bardney Hall
About Bardney Hall
Bardney Hall is a beautifully proportioned Queen Anne manor house, in a charming market town in North Lincolnshire. It is ideal for parties of family and friends, and welcomes weddings.
Bardney Hall holds the 'Good to Go' certificate, a nationally recognised bench mark to ensure we have all measures in place to keep our guests as safe as possible.
The house has 6 en-suite bedrooms, and sleeps up to 14 guests. All of the bedrooms have kingsize beds, and one of the rooms has an adjoining room with twin beds (so perfect for a young family). Although all of the rooms are on the first floor, one of the rooms is reached via a separate staircase.
Downstairs, the rooms are large with high ceilings and huge sash windows. There is a drawing room (with grand piano), a breakfast room and a big dining room, which seats from fourteen guests. There is also a games room, which has a pool table and table football. The kitchen is suitable for catering, and is fully equipped to serve more than a household of guests.
Outside, the house has a big, walled garden, surrounded by mature trees, with lots of immaculate topiary. There is a generous terrace, with tables and chairs and a barbeque. The house has croquet sets, boules and table tennis, for guests to enjoy.
Edmund’s Choice of Extraordinary Feature
“It’s quite unusual to find a manor house of this size in a town. The walled garden gives it a real sense of privacy and protection.”

Stunning wedding venue My son and daughter-in-law recently held their wedding reception at Bardney Hall; wow, what a beautiful venue! The hosts - Claire and Hannah - were welcoming and attentive to everyone’s needs. Prior to the ‘big day’ they both went the extra mile in every way especially with regard to communication and being accommodating with any requests. The house and gardens are stunning; perfect for any special occasion. Bardney Hall is truly a hidden gem. Read more Date of stay: August 2020
My self and my wife got married here the staff were amazing and couldn’t have asked for a better day we will definitely be returning. Such a lovely house and amazing staff cannot recommend them enough.
Beautiful building and grounds. Very friendly and welcoming staff. I would definitely recommend.
Thank you to Claire and Hannah for hosting my wedding styled shoot. Their care and support helped to make everyone feel at home and relaxed. Beautiful venue for any intimate wedding
Staying in this wonderfully beautiful hotel was just what I needed. My room was very large and with period furniture and use of the drawing room to relax was a bonus. Breakfast was fantastic with a large selection of jams, cereals and pastries, I went for scrambled eggs and smoke Salmon, delicious. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, I would recommend this hotel and definitely stay here again.
Just back from a 4 night stay. The best B&B bar none. Nothing too much trouble for the hosts and felt like we were temporary family members. Ideal location for visiting all that Barton and the surrounding area has to offer. Next time we are visiting we will surely be back at Bardney Hall.
Wow... Absolutely beautiful place. Room was beyond expectation. Our host Hannah was brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend this place. And we will be back very soon for another visit..
Delightful afternoon tea had at Bardney Hall. The Hall itself is beautiful. We were greeted and shown into a lovely room and served our Prosecco immediately. Our tea was incredible. Amazing selection of sandwiches and cakes. Nothing was ever too much trouble. We were even offered more sandwiches and more cake which we sadly had to turn down as there really was plenty. Hot tea was constantly kept topped up. Overall a truly fantastic place. Would recommend to anyone! Thank you to everyone at Bardney Hall.
We had a most welcoming stay in this gorgeous country house set in lovely gardens. The new owners are making a massive effort and deserve every success. Great base to explore lots of beautiful places in North Lincolnshire like the trail of George Stubbs, Baysgarth House, Scawby and Barton's extraordinary pair of Saxon and medieval churches either side of a pond with a bubbling spring. Easy access to Hull museums and events. Easy to park and walking distance of good places to eat in the small town centre. Fine breakfast. We will return. We took the attached photo on 10.Jan, 2020.
Absolutely fantastic!! Hannah was fantastic and very thoughtful. Rooms are immaculate and well presented, love the manicure set and sewing kit too. Definitely coming here again in a few months time xx
Very impressive building with a very friendly. Who on arrival took us on a tour of property which was magnificently furnished. The grounds and gardens beautifully kept. But the final surprise was the Bardney Suite.....Wow what a room!!! We had the most amazing time and will be back Franco and Tina
My wife and I had the absolute pleasure of having our wedding at Bardney Hall recently. Throughout the planning process Colin, Claire and Thea were so helpful and accommodating and on the day itself the level of service from all staff was so attentive and friendly. They couldn’t do enough for us. The grounds are beautiful, especially in the summer months and the house itself has been restored and renovated to a stunning standard. I would recommend this venue to anyone whether it be for a nights stay or a celebration of any kind, they are very adaptable. We will be returning for our Anniversary! A real hidden gem of North Lincolnshire but it won’t be long before the message gets out... so book it quick!
My wife and I booked the full hall for us and guests around our wedding in March. What a hidden gem! We were so impressed at this fabulous place. Colin and Thea were fantastic and so welcoming creating such a relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were all very luxurious and the breakfast was lovely too. We only live down the road but would definitely stay over again in the future
