The accommodation at Bosloe House is flexible, and can sleep up to 30 in four self-contained properties.
Bosveal
Sleeps 10 in 6 bedrooms. Bosveal occupies the centre of Bosloe House, and has original oak panels in the dining room, drawing room and kitchen.
Sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms. Chatham is essentially the West Wing of Bosloe House, and was built in 1903. Unlike the rest of Bosloe, Chatham was built with a nod to the Arts and Crafts movement, evident in the internal detailing. Downstairs is a large salon for sitting and dining, and a generous kitchen.
Sleeps 10 in 5 bedrooms. Court is the East Wing of Bosloe House, and still has the green-baize inter-connecting door into Bosveal. It was built in 1890 as the servant’s quarters, and has a sitting room, dining room and kitchen.
Sleeps 2 in 1 bedroom. The Bothy is a tiny hide-away cottage, deep in Bosloe’s gardens. It has a sweet little living room with a kitchen at one end, and a bathroom.
About The Estate
Bosloe House’s gardens are gorgeous, and owe much to their previous owners, Lord and Lady Rendlesham, who were great benefactors to the area (building a village hall and bowling green, amongst other things). They used the garden for fund-raisers and fetes for the local WI, and to raise money for the Lady Rendlesham Trust (which once paid for a district nurse in the Mawnam area).
There’s plenty to do in the area around Bosloe House – you’re a stone’s throw from spectacular walking routes, and a few minutes from the beach. There’s also great cycling in the area, and plenty of historic houses and villages to visit.
Bosloe House is suitable for parties of friends or family, reunions, holidays and special celebrations. It is also suitable for bridal parties for weddings at Pendennis Castle or retreats.
