Built in the late 1800s for a gentleman JP, Widcombe Grange is an impressive stone built country house set in 22 acres of landscaped woodland on the Blackdown hills in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The property consists of the main house and cottage which together can accommodate up to 24 guests in comfort. In front of the house is a natural pond with its own island gazebo and to the west of the property is woodland featuring many rare and specimen trees. You will also find a two acre spring fed fishing lake which borders onto a newly planted cider apple orchard. The grounds are spectacular and lend themselves to a range of country pursuits (archery, fishing, clay shooting to name a few) so your group can stay and play without ever having to leave site! The main house has 7 bedrooms/ 5 bathrooms and the cottage has 5 bedrooms / 3 bathrooms. The living/dining space in the main house is suitable for 24.
