The General Stores is a large property dating back to the 1400s which is available for holiday or business let, for full weeks or weekend and mid-week breaks. It sleeps 14-20 and includes a self-contained family unit. The General Stores is a 45 minute drive from Bristol, and has easy access from London, Birmingham, Cheltenham and Gloucester. It is situated in a village location, so has immediate access to a late shop and off-license, a take-away, a family butcher, three pubs and a post office. Yet its position on the edge of the village and it's courtyard lay-out means that the garden is completely private and quiet, and has great views up to the bracken covered hills behind the village. There are playing fields and swings in the village, and some beautiful right-of-way walks up the wooded hills to each side of the property. Each bedroom has a theme and is decorated with furniture, soft furnishings and quirky objects to reflect this. It is four star graded and has white bed-linen and towels throughout. There is an outdoor games barn with a pub size pool table and many family toys, a six seater hot tub in the garden, and a designated play area and sand pit for children.
