Medieval oak beams adorn the entrance hall from which the original solid wood staircase rises to the first floor. The ground floor reception rooms are pictured in the gallery and include the red lounge which has oceans of space, comfortable sofas and easy chairs, table tennis, table football, karaoke and a central stone fireplace that can be lit in winter months. A grand dining room opposite is ideal for a formal dinner, with its smart oak tables and chairs. The kitchen has sofas and chairs at one end and an excellent range of units and equipment at the other. There are sufficient dinner plates, bowls, cutlery, standard wine glasses, and cooking utensils for the normal large group. There is a gas double oven and hob, microwave, a fridge for drinks and another for food, a freezer and a dishwasher. Each of the 10 bedrooms has a good view, looking out over the well maintained and landscaped 2-acre gardens to the traditional pastures beyond. The bedding is very good quality, and the beds are comfortable being mainly pocket-sprung. The 3 double and 18 single beds are arranged in the rooms as follows: Laburnum - a double and a single bed; Foxglove - 2 single beds; Bluebell - a double and 2 single beds; these three bedrooms each have an ensuite bathroom. Other first floor bedrooms are Heather - 2 singles; Phlox - 2 singles; Roses - 2 singles; Lilac - 3 singles. Two further bathrooms are also on this floor. On the second floor is the sixth bathroom and three bedrooms comprising a double, a twin and a smaller bedroom with adult sized bunk beds. An extra charge is made for up to five foldaway beds and the six bathrooms each have a bath with shower over.
